cbb, amaro has said he recently he plans on keeping halladay, lee, hamels...lee's contract is absurd, not many teams could afford to take on his contract...halladay has only 1 year left on his contract (dont see him being on team after next season)...hamels obviously isnt going anywhere
the 3 guys names that keep popping up in trade talks r pierre,victorino,blanton...(hearing pence as well but the phillies r gonna ask for a ton in return)...just the other day i heard reports that they tried to trade victorino to cincy for relief pitcher but it got shot down....bottom line, unless they move pence, i dont expect anything great in return...maybe relief pitchers or AA prospects..
i do expect them to make some moves, these next 43 hours will be very interesting 
have great respect for all 3 of those pitchers but it's ridiculous how much money they are paying them when they clearly need offense. Hate to see Pence or Vic to leave but with all this money tied up in others I see it inevitable. I think they need to make some big moves next year because IMO they need to win NOW. Their star players are getting old and very limited it star prospects. Hope to see that the Phillies will make the right moves in the next couple of days though.
