Ok boys about to call it a night and head to bed, wanna sleep so i can wake up at 3 for the match and then i gotta head downtown to see my mom run the miami marathon. As for tennis.
I have done a lot of research and i have finalized my picks.
The main aspect of tennis is matchups. I have been playing for about 12 years and i know the game very well. Rafa Nadal plays a very physical and power game mainly revolving around his deadly top spinning forehand. His weakness; the serve and most importantly backhand. His serve is decent enough against any other player. Against the greatest returner in the game (will end as the greatest all time guaranteed) his serve is trash.
For the entire match Djoker will be nailing backhands down the line to Rafa's backhand. By doing this Djoker will get into his head and dictate the match, tiring out nadal. Essentially playing games with him. Rafa already admitted at the U.S. Open that he couldnt shake Djoker out of his head and it had been more psychological for him.
I think we are going to see an average of 15-20 shot rallies, and a long 4-5 hour beauty of a match. I am beyond excited for this. In the end its going to be decided by Djokovic. If he can consitintley keep Rafas backhand in play and dictate it he will win easily.
Djoker proved 6 times last year (all finals) that he could beat Nadal. In fact he murdered Rafa. In the six matches they played, Djoker beat Rafa 14-4 in total sets. WOW! that is telling. Men lie, women lie, numbers dont.
I have to give Nadal a chance but its slim. Hes going to have to play the best match of his life, and hes going to have to get lucky with the Djoker either off his game or gets hurt. Its going to be Djoker wins or Djokers loses, not Nadal winning. The tide is turning in tennis. Barring injury Djokovic is going to win atleast 2-3 grand slams for the next 4 years. You can bet your fucking ass on that.
