The goal was definitely his fault. Easy play - he blew it.
But the game wasnt his fault. Italy cant win it all from the 2 games I have seen. There are certain things you cant overcome - and Italy has the disease with no cure.

there's a reason its called ItalJuve, and Juventus sure do love draw.
But the way they are playing is way far from how juventus play, juventus get draw because they can't score. This Italy team can't create as much chances as juventus. THe problem is the midfield three, i don't believe Motta is better at there instead of Nocerino, and De Rossi clearly can't play CB for 90mins. Italy still able to win it all, if they change Balo with someone else to start the game, seriously, Balo will have better impact coming as a sub rather than Toto as sub.

I was on Italy as well at pk -160..while I am disappointed we did not get the win, I think you guys are being a bit too harsh about the performance. Italy looked very good in the first half. Lots of good ball movement..a little more offensive minded..should have scored more..especially Marchisio in the box..but overall it was a very good half for the Italians..and even Balotelli played well.
I think Prandelli hurt the team in the 2nd half by not coming out intent on scoring a 2nd goal. He should have pumped them up at half and made an emphasis on coming out as the aggressor and adding a 2nd goal asap. Instead they came out a little lazy happy to play some defense and hold the 1 goal lead.
One negative today was the amount of crosses Italy let in the box. It seemed Croatia had a free and easy cross into the box whenever they wanted. One was bound to go their way.
Also, is Maggio the most overrated player in soccer? He does not belong in the starting lineup. I didn't like the way he played for Napoli this year, and I certainly do not like the fact he is receiving prominent playing time in the Euro Cup.
Overall, Italy is dangerous. Pirlo looks great. Take care of business vs the Irish and anything can happen in the knockout stage.

I think we need the second goal by the 75th minute or Spain will just say fuck it, we'll take our 1-0 win because with Italy's draw, Spain doesn't really have to worry about goal differential as long as they win.

Phew I dunno if my heart can take another half of rooting for Ireland. This is brutal. After the first half it looks like -1.5 might've been the right side but you never know.

i worried about my chances right now. its sickening to see that they arent getting the 2nd goal and ireland didnt really try to push on for a result instead keep trying to counter attack even tho they already trailing.
