This thread has become unwieldy - but to summarize......
TOMORROW:
Italy Pk and -.5 -101 for 4 units. Most likely result Italy 3-1
Spain -1.5 -110 for 2 units. Most likely result Spain 3-0

hey Van Love that you are killing it... just want to run something by you.... Am I INSANE for thinking about making a small play on the draw of the Ireland Spain game......
Months ago this line opened up at Spain - 300 ( which i thought was kind of low considering given all the matchups in the tourny one would guess this is the most lob-sided) It moved to - 450 or around that area for obvious reasons) But as you stated earlier Ireland was not as Bad as that defeat suggested in fact they had a nice unbeaten streak going into that game.... Spain is slightly overated... and I dont know given the line of - 1.5 (Which is an open invitation to everyone to TAKE Spain because you would have to be border-line crazy to take that) As well as the suspicious o/u line of 2.5... These lines seem to inviting for action.... Which kind of reminds me of the Netherlands Denmark game which we discussed.... anyway the way vegas is making me think is this is going to be a closer game than we all think... if Spain is up 1-0 in 2nd half who knows maybe Ireland could get a Fluke goal.... Crazyier stuff has happend.... just would love to hear your thoughts.... I know you have a writeup

Gotta love tournament play.
Russia are huge favorites to win their Group as of now but they still could, in theory, not even qualify (if they lose to Greece & the Czech's beat Poland)
Netherlands have lost two straight and could easily qualify with a convincing win and some help from the Germans.
Good luck tomorrow van, I'll be rooting for Italy with you but against you in the late game. I just don't think Spain's tic-tac passing will not be effective enough against the 11 man defense of Ireland; there just won't be enough room. They don't have anyone that has the grit (i.e. Mario Gomez) to create a goal from a cross, set piece, etc. With that being said, you're right about the timing of the first goal; if it's early I will hate the side I'm on. If it's not 1-0 until the 80th then I'll like my chances...
