Great win by the 'Yanks today.  So many called for the U.S.'s head, and much less Klansman's head after the loss to Columbia. 
Ridiculous.., I mentioned much earlier in the thread (regardless of how poorly many said  they played) how closely they could have won that game against Columbia.  Notice I didn't say how they played... but how close they could have won that game....  Soccer  is a strange game...  

U.S. on their way to Houston... I think Klansman's job is safe ....... for now.

Having said all that .... people need to pay attention to Chile. 

It's not all about Mexico, Argentina, and U.S. now..    Chile are defending champs from last year, and have many quality players.

Argentina has looked way the best in this tourny. Seems like they just toy with these other teams. Messi is just at another level. Of course I would like the USA to win but I don't feel they could beat Columbia or Chile. Proud they made it this far but the show is over.

Nice line on Argentina.  Can't find a good line right now on them  Taking a shot on Argentina -1.5 and Over 2.5.  If they Argentina gets 2 goals, I can't lose both.  3-0 or 3-1 seems about right.  GL.  

This is an easy win in a good line for argentina backers, Columbia vs Chile is a very interesting matchup. Cant wait for your insights van.

Higuain is a fkn bum was at the match great seats great atmosphere.. so tilting they didnt win.. 

Higuain just happens to be the best striker in Italy at the moment.

Fuckk all what he does for Napoli. The pressure and expectation that comes with playing for this Argentinian squad in these past few years crushes anything that can be experienced with any Serie A team.

And what Higuain has manage to accomplish in three short years with Argentina.. missing 3 crucial shots (in addition to a penalty in a shootout) in 3 seperate major finals is pretty unparalleled. Had he converted at least one of those shots, Argentina would have at least won one major title and we wouldn't be having all of this Messi retiring talk.

I hope for his sake he flew straight to Italy after the tournament. They'll be looking to lynch him in Argentina. And anyone trying to defend him with the "well he plays so well in Serie A" would probably get lynched right beside him. It means nothing for Argentinan futbol (which is what we're talking about right? his performance at the National Team level)
