USA really shows some heart over there, dempsey was very good tonight. Excited on USA vs paraguay. For costa rica i dont know why are they very down at the early minutes of the game. I cant see the team that reach the qrtr finals last world cup.

Colombia was very good in the first half they dominated them but in the second half paraguay regain there form they score a goal and im nervous i think they can force the draw but good defense stops by columbia on the last minutes of the game.

BOL on the upcoming games man.

It almost seems like Brazil to win group at -150 is a better bet than Brazil at -2 tonight for -150.

What do you think?

It is likely that both Brazil and Ecuador will win their final two games - so it will come down to goal differential in the next two games for each.

An amazing thing about this Copa America is that the final group games are not at the same time.  This is amazing to me.  It means that there is a great advantage to the group teams playing in the second game because they will know exactly what they need to do to advance or win the group.

Look for a lot of crazy line changes minute to minute during those final games on the upcoming games.

It just so happens that Brazil is the second game.  So they will know exactly how many goals they will have to beat Peru by to win the group.

So given that - and only that - I think Brazil at -150 to win the group is probably a good bet at this point.

I have a decent amount of money on Ecuador as well.@ -120

You say Peru gets blasted.

Ecuador is now -135.

Don't you see value here considering Peru will get blasted?

June 12th, for the second consecutive time, Brazil plays after Ecuador too...not fair.
Ecuador at 33-1 would have been better if the lower bracket was possible. Very curious schedule

Based on the Brazil 7-1 win - I would think Ecuador will go after goals - but who knows.

I dont think your -1 is a bad bet.

13.  I really hate to keep doing this....But once again we have a very bad defensive team playing against a team that has to win and should win.  Uruguay will press the sh*t out of Venezuela - I expect another blitz here like the US did to CR.  Turnovers - and quick counters will get Uruguay up early and stay up.  Goal difference matters here, and Uruguay will push all game.

Uruguay -1 +120 for 2.5 units

14.  Jamaica / Mexico - no bet - I am going to sit this one out.  There is no way I will lay the goal and a half on the darling team of the tournament.  Wes Morgan will be in on defense - and Jamaica can keep it respectable.  I think Mexico will win - but think a 1 or 2 goal win is likely.  No bet for me.

The way Brazil exited this tournament, makes me wonder if they will be very motivated and worth some money during WC-2018 campaign, starting from the qualifiers and into the finals in Russia.

i would think losing to germany 7-1 as host country in 2014 would have motivated them.

Them? How many players from the 1-7 team do you think played in this shameful Copa and how many do you see playing in the 2018 campaign?

Back to my Copa thread after a few days of games where I didnt see any edges....

Thursday:

Ecuador / USA over 2 -120 (2.5 units)

I hope I am wrong here (as a fan), but the speed of Ecuador is going to be a key here.  They have 4 or 5 guys in the front and mid that can torch the USA - and without Yedlin on the outside - the USA is going to have a long day defending runs and crosses from open positions.

On the other hand - Ecuador have proven to be sloppy and disorganized on defense - and the USA should be able to exploit the spaces that Ecuador seemingly are willing to give up to almost anyone (Bolivia).

I think this is an open end to end match - and should be a close game - USA prevail 3-2.

Thoughts on colombia still winning the copa? Argentina was very good on the group stages and also they have the easiest path going to the finals. I think this will be the time when messi will hold the cup.

I think Argentina will win the cup.  But at 11-1, I still like Colombia (current odds about 6-1).  They wont meet Argentina until the final.
