Chelseafan - I've put my £25 ($40) on Sunderland -0.5@2.02 against Bolton. I wanted to start with an English game and after having a look through the Premier League and Championship, I like this one the best to start off.
Bolton are also playing tomorrow night (at Arsenal, who should win easily) so Sunderland will be fresh for Saturday.
I'm not that concerned whether Bolton will have a new manager in place either as it'll take him time to get this poor Bolton side playing well. Sunderland will be too strong in front of their home fans.
I put it on today as I think the price on Sunderland to win may go down to around 1.70 ish nearer to kick-off. The straight ML with some books is already @1.83

chelsea you ever take spreads in this? like a favorite at home -1.5 (-120). Just wondering because some times can't find good price other then the spread

-1.5 is almost too much when you reach 7th bet..i usually wait and wait till i get somthing good or combine a 2 teamer that would pay 1.8 or up.

Ya I'm with you i am fearing the odds will drop..everything looks right about sunderland thy are more than 3 points clear of bolton although bolton have 2 games in hand but i assume they will be losses the for is a bit shaky for the home side but they did have some tough games...history is in sunderlands favor as well ...
so i would say that is our first Bet

I think you may be right about the odds dropping so I'm getting in now at the same odds as chelseafan. I have been following a strict money management plan since November 23 that I don't want to change just yet so I might not follow your complete plan. For now it's 1 unit (2.5 % of my bankroll) flat betted on

Hey Chelseafan! It sounds like a really good idea.It's kind of like a 10 fold parlay spread out over several days or weeks when you think about it.
One question I have for you is, if you get to 7 or 8 wins you actually have a decent return.Are you not tempted to withdraw most of the money or at least hedge the bet 50/50?
It would be a pretty bad beat to lose all $5000 or so at bet number nine! Might think about doing it myself.

for me i will stick to the plan 10 means 10 if i were to keep some it would be the I started with..but for other they can reset at anytime as i said taking risks, patience and discipline is the key to a big profit specially when investing a small amount of money.
