I bet a rugby parlay blind last weekend and lost 1 of the 3 games, small wager for fun with no knowledge.  Deserved a loss I guess. Just checked my local for fun and EXPLAIN THIS PLEASE: Aussie rules- hawks -3000 & Bombers -8000! These lines blow my mind, guaranteed locks or your just a f***n idiot for taking either?

I understand this forum is for betting advice but It'd be awesome to get some input on this, risk $8,000 to win $100 on the bombers!? I'm dumbfounded...........

I do not follow the AFL much but usually can get teams laying around 100 points from what I see sometimes.

they are as big a lock as you would get these team could play 100 times and you will still get the same result

Its so scary tho!! It just breaks every logical rule of betting imaginable, if I were to bet and loose it'd all be over

I just can't do it- risk 8K for $100, insanity/stupidity

afl is a very physical game they play 4 quarters, i think gold coast will stick with them for 3 quarters but will tire in the 4th

I appreciate your response and input, I'm a typical American sports bettor who plays football, basketball, and baseball. NHL was fun this year and a first, my squad the Blackhawks made it easy- probably once in a lifetime from a betting standpoint. I'm ignorant to the game of rugby but i swear most games I've watched are around 20ish, care to elaborate more. Please lol!

But the play either way is basically even -110 over 28.5 or under. Odds say coinflip, hence why I like this conversation and wantc to learn more
