Only in the NRL can a team finish 6th in regular season, lose a finals game and still make a grand final. A bit of a joke to be honest but them the rules I guess.

However to be fair after the hiding they got against the Broncos the Warriors have been superb.

especially amazing given the storm barely had time to pass the ball one off the ruck before there were three defenders in their backline.

Love how the aussies say '6th team who lost shouldn't make it through' blah blah, only because the warriors made it into the final. Ha.

You know a good way to combat this? Win.... 

Manly have finals experience? Really?.... 3 good playmakers haven't...

Mormon, Cherry picker and the Kiwi all haven't... it's a warriors win

I couldn't care less if it was the Warriors or any Australian team if they were in the same position, I would have said the same thing. There is NO competition in the world across any sport that I know of where you can lose a post season game after finishing at the bottom half of the finalists and still make it through to the grand final.

Thats true.. Look at the U.S.. NFL.,.. one team gets through to the playoffs with a record of 5-7 yet another misses with a 9-3 record...

Just the way it goes....Puts more emphasis to being a top 2 team doesnt it?... and punishes those who finish 7th and 8th.... 5th and 6th deserve a 2nd go because they finished higher.. If these 3 and 4 teams complain then they either should have finished 1st or 2nd, or perhaps... won their second game?

If you win back to back away finals matches in a row against the two in form teams of the comp then you deserve to be in the final

Ok, so lets assume the NRL adopted the AFL finals format which everyone says is so good....

Instead of the Warriors in week 1 travelling to Brisbane to play in front of 50,000 screaming Broncos fans where everyone including the refs were tounging Lockyers balls, they would have played the Cowboys at Mt Smart stadium...

I think the Warriors win that game at mt smart

AFL is a disgrace and shouldn't even have a top 8,most predictable sport there is in the entire world,AFL should have a top 4

warriors still would have had to do what they did - win 2 games in Aust against top 4 teams, including the minor premiers in melbourne
