What the hell, a team scores 5 tries to 3 and still gets flogged?

No wonder why that sport went downhill fast

It's becoming harder and harder to watch for sure

Mostly because of the continual rule changes every season so not only are the spectators confused by even the players look like they are

The code needs an enema. Infact, it needed one years ago.

I think Rugby has a hell of a lot of potential as a spectacle. There are certain elements to the game that have the potential to be breathtaking at times. Think back to some of those classic Bledisloe Cup games from the 90's where plenty of tries were scored.

But good games, played and refereed the right way are as rare as hens' teeth nowadays. I don't know how the IRB can shake things up, and they appear to be too arrogant to entertain anything too radical, so.......

 

Watching Patrick Phibbs is excruiating. He must have dropped the ball at least 5 times so far tonight and he is the scrumhalf for the team

Can't believe I am saying this but the Reds are quite easily the best team to watch of all the Australian teams in the s14

So many professional fouls committed in this game and nothing done about it

This is the only game where the refs interpretation of the rules or lack thereof has much more bearing on the results than any other footy code. Can be very frustrating from a punter's point of view.

The ebb and flow of the game is NOTHING like league. It's no wonder then that all the big name league defactors who've left for the big $$$ has returned to the more exciting game of league.

This is not to say that NRL is perfect by any means, far from it.But at least this game is so much more entertaining to watch.

These kiwi teams in th super 14 are absolutely horrendous

Brumbies, Tahs and Reds all win

Now we only need the Farce to beat the Bulls and the Aussies get a clean sweep this round

Crusaders the only Kiwi team worth watching this season. All the other teams can't even do basic things like catch and pass

Tahs v Brumbies on ANZAC day weekend will determine which of the Aussie teams make the semi final IMO
