Lets get the weekend going good and strong.Picks:Crusaders -5.5 6 units @ $1.90Love them this week in a huge bounce back game. Last week them came up against one of the best D&#x27;s in the comp and it showed. However if they had started the correct #10 the games outcome could have been a lot different. They have not made that mistake 2 weeks in a row, yet the Blues have. Benji needs to be starting #10 for the Blues and he is not. In the 2nd half last week when he came on they were a different side and we saw that great flick pass work and absolute trick. JK has missed a trick this week and it will cost his side a win in my opinion. These 2 sides have a great tradition of playing good games of footy and think we see that unfold tonight with the saders showing their class and improving to 1-1 on the season.Rebels/Cheetahs Over 49.5 5 units @ $1.90Love this over bet. Every time these 2 teams have played which is 3 times the total has gone over this number with ease. In this corresponding fixture last year the Cheetahs were able to sneak a injury time try to win the game. These 2 teams historically play each other hard and really think will be open running game with points. Rebels have a slight disadvantage having yet played a game and Cheetahs coming off a good win over the Bulls for the first time in their history. They should be riding the high wave and have plenty of points in them.Cheetahs 1-12 Margin 3 units @ $2.70In 3 previous matches they have not lost to the Rebels and last time out in Melbourne the game was super close. Think this could be another close battle and im going with the team that has couple games under their belt. Snake you know agree with the Crusaders bet. Just one thing about Benji - what was JK thinking leaving a playmaker, for which they've paid a squillion, on the bench while the sides showing no flare and getting walloped something like 27 blot. I agree they looked a different side when he came on. Hope JK keeps him on the bench for the first 60 minutes again.

If my Crusaders bet wins (will probably be -7.5 @ $2.20) then I will tail you on the Rebs/Cheetahs Over. I haven't seen any of the SA games so not in position to comment but both teams attack hopefully is better than their defence.

As for the Canes I try not to bet any games involving them. Never know which side is going to turn up. Being a Canes supporter must be even more frustrating than following the Tahs.

Can not believe that missed that over by half a point. That is a tough loss when you a struggling for a win.

Had a live bet this morning in the Stormers Canes game on the over to get back some of the losses of last night and got the over by a point which was nice. Think could be that time tonight to go large or go home really.

Been having a horrible time of it lately. All week I had liked the Blues but went against myself and lost. I then have a half point loss on the total in the next game just to make things so much better.

Picks:

Chiefs 1-12 Margin 5 units @ $2.70

This should be an absolute ripper to get the night started. Both teams had a first up win. I know the Chiefs were not over impressive in their first game but they will be much better for the run. Highlanders also looked very good in their first game. I think this will be a real battle the entire way but the Chiefs have home field and the finishers to get the win. If this kind of play is not for you than the Highlanders with the points would be my other play.

Reds +5.0 5 units @ $1.90

They looked very good in their first hit out as did the Tahs but just think the Reds should be to good for them tonight. Historically these games are played hard and close so like the points.

Lions +6.5 5 units @ $2.00

They have started the season with a hiss and a roar. Love their work early this season and think they keep that going early tomorrow morning. In my opinion the Bulls have been less than impressive and they will have their work cut out to win this game. As a sneaky underdog the Lions at $3's is worth a punt.

Still looking at totals but their are a couple on the board that like the look of a lot.
