Quite the box play but it's what I had to do. Two words, TONY ARCHER. Queensland are winning this game whether it's by 2 or 20. Played to win 2 units...

Archer is by far the best ref in the NRL, and perhaps the only good one at that. He lets origin play itself rather than those idiots who reffed game 2, who blew their whistle every 2 seconds and let the players lie all over each other for 80 minutes.

 

This should be a nice free flowing game with not too many silly harmless penalties.

Wouldn't less penalties and a free flowing game be an advantage for the smaller yet mobile NSW forwards

Queensland are 5-1 SU under the combined reffing of Archer and Hayne and 7-2 SU if you include the 2007 Series where Archer was the sole ref.

Queensland are also 12-4 SU in games played outside of Sydney since the 2001 Series (7-2 SU since 2006).

Queensland looked so disinterested in the 2nd half of Game 2. A decider definitely puts bums on seats. The unfaltering class of Queenslanders should pull through...

The theme of this origin has been slow play the balls. Did u not watch game one very closly. was slow.

Game kind of reminds me of Game 2 in the 2001 series when Fittler was 'retiring' from rep footy and playing his 'last' game in the state of NSW. The Blues put on a clinic and won 26-8. Dude came out of retirement though and got NSW the lollies again in 2004...
