First of all Greg Inglis.......As far as it has been made aware, he NEVR SIGNED on the dotted line.........I know he said verbally he will agree, but he never signed........If verbal agreements are the be all and end all, why the f### do people sign on the dotted line...I am sorry, but he was released by Storm cause they couldnt fit him, he never signed with anyone, so he can do whatever the f### he wants.......he could go and try and play for the Wollongong Hawks if he desires.......

People complaining are just jelous, pure and simple.......

More importantly, Souths couldnt fit Capwell under the cap, but they fit Inglis.....

Secondly this Monoghan incident, while it is vulgour, disgusting etc etc etc, at the end of the day, did anyone get harmed? Did anyone get killed, was there a potential for anyone to get harmed? NO........he gets punted, yet people drink and drive (one of the biggest killers on the road), shit in hotel hallways and comeback and represent there countries......

Seriously, this world has gone f####ing mad.......

inglis has whored himself out to the highest bidder

a man who goes back on his word is not a man

wayne bennett has never signed a contract. A handshake is all he needs. who would you rather have at your club - bennett or inglis

Inglis can be fit in by backending his contract, offloading 1 or 2 high profile players (asotasi and crocker), and he will be under the marque player status when that gets introduced. all things they wouldn't do for capewell

Inglis was king grub in the storm fiasco, earned 100's of 1000's under the table, signs a muti-year, multi million dollar contract, yet can't cough up 30k. Would your employer pay your legal bills if you went to court? did manly pay for brett stewart?

fuck greg inglis. he plays for the dollar, not for the game

monaghan got sacked because sponsors did not want to be associated with that act. Roosters lost their major sponsor due to off field crap (including myles) and canberra finds it very hard to find sponsors

all pretty simple if you have a brain

Capwell was offered a contract, a pretty reasonable one, but decided to leave because he couldn't hold down a spot in his favourite position (5/8th).

Fat Richo was even quoted as saying this.

Mate, wake up and listen to yourself........at the end of the day EVRYONE, u and i included will look after ourselves first and foremost.....i dont care who u are, if u got offered a job at 1 company and u said u will join that company, then at the last second another company called u and said they will pay u more for doing the same thing, i dont care who the F### u are, u will jump ship.......

If a company wants to get rid of u, they will.......It is the year 2010, loyalty is dead, the world is what it is, stop living in a fantasy lalaland......

That issue with the legal fees, i am sure we dont know half the story with that, so who knows....

I say good on him for doing what his best for him and his family, at the end of his career, will anyone care about him? no....

With Monoghan, he was simply trialed by the social media.....Why didnt the Roosters sponsors walk out when they signed Carney........Drink Driving kills tens of thousands of people every year, pisses on people and who knows what else he did......

What did Monoghan do, put his dick in a dogs mouth......woopi dooda, no one got harmed........If u got someone who has had a family member killed in a drink driving accident and u asked him who he would ban for life of the game, i wonder who he would point at........What about jake Friend.......?

The NRL is the biggest laughing stock of a competition in the world.........Every year the public wonders how the Storm can have all those stars, yet the NRL say they are clean, yet they rely on someone to dob them in.......There referees are amongst the biggest corrupt parasites the world has seen.......and it all starts with that crooked corrupt individual who allows tries where everyone in the world can clearly see it isnt.....

Then with the salary cap, the Dragons are allowed to sign Gasnier for less money this year but the storm players arent allowed to take pay cuts? Easily the NRL is the most incompetent administration i have ever seen and here u are defending everything.......LOL GO back and put your head in the sand.....

fuck greg inglis. he plays for the dollar, not for the game

monaghan got sacked because sponsors did not want to be associated with that act. Roosters lost their major sponsor due to off field crap (including myles) and canberra finds it very hard to find sponsors

all pretty simple if you have a brain

    Sorry for having an opinion

oh thats right, the pakistan cricket team, cause the ICC and PCB investigated the team and found no corruption, that means there is no corruption.........

Just like the Sea Eagles have the stringest in house drug testing, none of there players take illegal substances.......

The bulldogs also have stringent in house testing, and until Masons test was leaked everyone was playing by the rules.....

    U are such a moron........

What's this bullshit about the NRL allowing Gasnier and not allowing Storm to take a pay cut?

Get your facts right Rostos. They are totally different scenarios

    So what is the difference.........?

Mark Gasnier was getting paid $50k a year for this year......even though every man and his dog knows he is worth $350k +.....

The storm players all offered to take pay cuts this year to help them get under the cap so they can compete, but the NRL wont let them.........

Gasnier took a paycut this year so he can play, but the NRL wont let the storm players do it........oh thats right, one is hiding behind a backend rule while the others cant.........but at the end of the day, based on current market value, they are over the cap....

So how much is Inglis gonna get paid next year $50k?  and pay him the difference in future years........

Dont forget this is a millionaire that didnt even want to pay what $50k for a legal bill.......

Oh thats right, Shane Richardson came out and said they are clean, so they must be........ just like the ICC board came out and said pakistan is clean........just like Gallop said the Roosters cows game last year was clean.,.........

The Storm players weren't allowed to take paycuts because the contract salaries had to be fufilled. After the contracts expire, that is a different story. Gaz never had a deal with the NRL so the yearly salary could be negotiated differently.

Mate wasn't attacking you, just your thread

You want to crucify Myles for shitting in a corridor, did he hurt anyone?  Not from what I could recall. Maybe just pissed off the hotel cleaners.

Still bringing up shit about Carney, did he pay a price? Yeah he was de-registered for a year.

I might be bias but i don't give a fuck.

I live in a non rugby league state and I have workmates ask me about this latest indiscretion about a league player copping blow jobs from animals. Fuck me its getting harder to defend this game.

Fuck Monaghan and his team mates. Easy equation Rostos, no photo no media circus.

Hope you and Joel live happily ever after

Why were the bulldogs allowed to take pay cuts but not the storm?

Because as always the NRL are reactive as opposed to proactive when it comes to making rules around the salary cap.
