Im from USA and I dont understand what taking X team 7 and over or Y team 13 and over means? I just usually do the USA odds and take the spread like X team -3.5 or X team moneyline -170. They had an option for Manly 7 and I dont know what the hell that means. Im just starting to handicap and breakdown teams in Rugby and im 2-0 posted on here with Rugby and feel I will be a force to reckon with vs the books as I learn more and more..Plz help me some of these weird odds I dont quite comprehend!! Breaking down some games now and will post in a couple hrs

7 or more means -6.5 and and 13 or means -12.5 hope that helps.

Its talking about winning margins which is what snake has said above... Gotta be careful with the 13+ because it doesn't include extra time... If you played a margins bet last night in the eels game you would have had to of selected Draw which pays around 23 to 1 which pisses me off because I have been playing eels draw bets as of late but dogged it last night

If you don't mind me asking, which book do you use that has those kinds of lines playing in the US? I'm also from the US and would love to have access to those.

I have a runner in Vegas who gets me the Rugby odds..I have books all over..Many offshore and then runner in Vegas..No scumbag local books for me after I got stiffed 10k a couple yrs ago by one that was the last of using them slobs!!

Thanks for the explanations guys..Im rolling Canteberra-170 for BIG and Queensland-16.5 for small..Looking for a 2-0 sweep, but as long as I nail the Canterberra I will be happy!! Gnite &

Depends on the book. I won't play it unless it does include extra time.

I use 5dimes right now and it's the best option for us playing offshore in the US, but I've been looking for a book that will let me play margins or half-times for Rugby or AFL. I think I'm probably out of luck though since books like Bet365 don't take Americans and, from my experience, our books don't put too much effort into the Aussie sports.

Ah ok... I didn't know that... I only bet with Sportingbet and the TAB and both of those dont include extra time..
