The Bulldogs form at home has been first class and with some SOO 3 spots up for grabs, it should be enough for the Bulldogs to keep their minds on the job and get home. Thurston has a habit of producing after SOO and always plays well against his old side but the Bulldogs just rate a bit better all over the park. Without Bowen at the back, the Cowboys lack a bit of genuine speed to trouble the Bulldogs out wide and look for Buddy Gordon to continue his late run of good form as he runs into a bit of nick.
The Bulldogs to cover the 6.5 start.
Tigers v. Dragons
A home game for the Tigers at an away venue. The Tigers have a great record against the Dragons at SFS but the Dragons have a big rating advantage over the Tigers in the backs and off the bench. The game is very even with the fresh Tiger forwards against the representative Dragons forwards nullifying each other. There is a rating advantage to the Dragons overall but the 6.5 start the Tigers in an up tempo game should be enough to see them home at the line.
If Farah happens to be out, forget the Tiges and bet up on the Dragons off scratch.
