Any thoughts on the All Blacks game tonight Rod?. Would love to pick your brain on this.
Italy stayed within the line vs Aus (as the two sides always seem to stay close some how), but similarly, NZ always seem to blow Italy off the park.
Appreciate NZ being a younger team etc compared to normal, but given what the NZ public, coaches expect after 2 tough games against France, also considering Tri Nation spots are up for grabs, feel this is a good spot to take NZ for the first time this year with the large line.
Would love to hear what your thoughts are on this game, as considering a larger than normal play on this.

I like the All Blacks as well tonight, not only because like you say they have a very dominant history against the Italians but I think the AB's have named a much better team to the ones that played against the French.
Donald is not up to international standards as a 5/8th, his general kicking was aimless over the 2 tests against the French. I much rather have the McAlister/ Leonard combinaton over the Donald/Cowan one as not only do they both offer more direction, IMO they will be far more creative. I love that Flash Masaga has finally been selected as he was one of New Zealand's best wingers in the s14 this season.
Like you say, with a couple of sub standard performances against the French I am fully expecting the AB's to blow the Italians away tonight.

France won the series against the All Blacks on point difference, they split the 2 game series
