I was surprised that Tasman did not cover against Southland last night. I noted that Tasman only had 3 days rest between matches while Southland has 6....Could this have made the difference? Thanks for input......

they could have covered with a terrible goal kicker instead they had hideous.
they were 0/2 on conversions and something like 1/6 on penalties, yet even though he was struggling to get them in the right postcode they kept taking shots from long range. braindead IMO.

The players are unanimous when answering this question when its put to them....they say it makes little to no difference.
Why? b/c if they weren't playing they would be training instead.
Less training more playing. Its a winner with many of the players.
