I watched that bullshit. Exhibition game vs Baltimore. Some ass trying to make the team on special teams makes an illegal hit on the punter. Helmet-to-helmet, that's a 15-yard penalty and the NFL would have levied a $25,000 fine.
If that happened last season that is......that happened a few years ago before they really started to crack down on that.
Most NFL punters would have had to been stretchered off. Not Rocca. Just gets right up.
Been watching him play. He hammered the hell outta people on punts. The Eagles all thought it was funny that they had a punter who could hit. Check this one out:

I know what you mean, but it was actually a legal hit as he didn't lead with the helmet and he got in front of him. You can hit someone in the jaw, but not lead with the helmet or with a forearm shiver. And it sounds like the guy was a starter from the announcers comment. I know it was his first game but someone forgot to tell him punters aren't supposed to run up the field like that, and one needs to keep your head on a swivel
lolol I can't remember what game I was watching, but they did show the replay at halftime and I was wondering why are they showing a replay of a punter running up field - than bammo. The only reason I did remember it was because he was an Aussie - not an Awseee like the announcers said it -
