AFL - PORT ADELAIDE 1-39(2.36) v west coast - both teams missing key forwards and have a recent history of close matches. Should be a tight game with the home team getting the win.

I can't help but think carlton will romp to victory after the game calms down.

The good record of clubs playing their first ever game has skewed many peoples thinking that gold coast stand a chance today. They do have quite a few good players. However game plans have developed so much over the last 5 years that they take quite a while to put into practice.
