Big game for both sides with plenty of stake. Like the way the Cowboys forwards have been playing of late and with Scott coming back, like them to give it to the Broncos. A massive boost for them is that Thurston is back, and this will override the emotion the Broncos will have with Lockyer celebrating his 350th game. The rivalry between these two QLD teams will make this game a must win for both sides, and though the Broncos have done well against the Cowboys in the past, like the Cowboys to make it a double after beating them 16-14 earlier in the year.

Could be a let down game for the Tigers after two massive come from behind wins over two of the top sides in the league, in the Sea Eagles and the Dragons, in the last two weeks. The Panthers have the forwards to take it to the Tigers, but it is the backs that need to stop Marshall and Lui when they get the hands on the ball. The Panthers have won 14 of their last 20 meetings with the Tigers including 5 of the last 8 games, and though they have won 4 straight, it is hard for any team to maintain that high level of play for weeks on end. While the Tigers may still end up winning this game, like the Panthers to keep this close, as they do still have a very slim chance of making the semi finals, and while there is hope, they will battle on.
