Looking at the respective line ups, you would think that Brisbane without Hodges, Yow Yeh, Lockyer, Thaiday, Parker and Hannant will struggle here, but take out Hayne and Mannah, and you would see that there is not much quality in the Eels side. While players like Burt, Hindmarsh and Moi Mou are good solid competitors, the rest do not inspire you with much confidence. The baby Broncos have shown that they are competitive and give little away, and with Wallace at half back to pull the strings, they have somebody who can lead the way for them. The Broncos have won 13 of the last 18 games at Parramatta Stadium, so they have a very good record there, and hard to take this Eels side when they put poor performances like they did last week against Canberra.

Bulldogs -6.5 @ 2.10 Centrebet
Both teams coming off good wins with the Panthers beating the Cowboys and the Bulldogs beating the Tigers. From these games the Panthers have two massive losses, losing their side-stepping prop Civoniceva and their main playmaker in Lewis, while the Bulldogs lose Ennis around the rucks. In looking at the respective line ups, give the edge in the forwards to the Bulldogs since the Panthers are missing their two main players there, while in the backs, the dogs looking better with Barba and Idris capable of opening them up. The rest pretty much cancel each other out, and like the Bulldogs to win two on the trot here

Reds -7.5 @ 2.05 Centrebet
Reds are rested for this weeks game which allows them to get some niggling injuries sorted out. They should be fresh and will have had two weeks to prepare for this game. Both teams have quality over the park, but really like the Reds halves combination of Cooper and Genia, and expect them to target Brett who can be a bit suss in defence. With a big crowd egging them on, the Reds should be able to drive through the Blues who can drift in and out of games, while the Reds like to play it up tempo, and can see them using their own backs to good effect.

Crusaders -4.5 @ 2.06 Centrebet
Should be a great game between two very good sides, and the forward battle should be very intense and competitive. In saying that, the return of McCaw is a huge bonus for the Crusaders and his work around the ruck will give them a good advantage. Also in the backs, the Crusaders edge it, with Carter the standout in organising their side. The Crusders won earlier in the season by 6 points in SA, and they were missing a few players there, but now with pretty much their full side, they look even better, and like them to go on and win this one.

Sharks -3.5 @ 2.60 centrebetLike the Sharks here as the rabbitohs lack is missing some talent without Taylor and Asotasi and like the fact that though Sharks also lose Gallen, they do have Snowden and Douglas, and these two have been in very good form of late. Believe that the Sharks pack has the edge here, and with the backs starting to click, the Sharks look well placed to continue their 2 game winning streak and make it a hat trick of wins, something that they have not done for a long time.

Dragons -9.5 @ 2.60 Centrebet
Dragons are without quite a few players but they showed on Monday night that they have some good depth here while they still have a very good forward pack. The return on Hornby also gives them someone who can lead their attacks, unlike the Knights who do not have Mullen or Gidley to get them going forward. Dragons look too strong up front and much more creative around the rucks as Hornby should have a good day here, with so much inexperience among the Knights backs, like him to cretae openings for his runners

Almost went with the Sharks myself, but convinced myself both of these two teams some how squeak this one over 40.5.

Raiders -1.5 @ 1.92 Centrebet
Raiders -7.5 @ 2.73 Centrebet
Roosters backline, besides the halves, look pretty weak and expect the big Raiders forwards to look to hit them out wide. No Pearce or Minichello for the Roosters, while Myles is missing too. The Raiders lose Shillington to inury but still have a handy pack, while the backs looked good last week in beating the Eels. Though the Raiders have a poor record against the Roosters at the SFS, the Roosters are struggling for form, and like them the away side to get a rare win here, as their forwards and backs look much better than what the Roosters have to offer.
