Didn't see the game at all but clearly the Titans didn't intend on competing all that hard tonight. Not sure how much to read into it with a view to the finals as nothing was riding on tonight's result.

But a 4-38 scoreline is hardly ideal for a clash with the fast-finishing Broncos next weekend.

Not that the first week of finals generally means anything for teams 3,4,5 & 6, provided teams 1 & 2 get it done, they basically just play out the opening week and swap partners the next week

JT The Titans had every intention of competing tonight but their mistake riddled game resulted in poor completions and before they knew it, Eagles smacked them for 22-0 by HT.

Manly's 2008 premiership "bend but don't break defence" was on full display tonight and they bashed the titans out of the game. Next week's GF re-match between Storm and Manly should be a real cracker.
