Will be on the Bunnies tonight. Hitting it closer to gametime as the lines continues to rise. Too many
points to give a side battling for their playoff lives on their home
ground regardless of the injuries. Think we may see some inspired play
from a Bunnies squad with their backs up against the wall versus the most questionable top eight side in the comp who have barely gotten out of jail in
their recent match-ups.
Lean Sea Eagles in the other game. Can't see the Storm showing up on the road, think we'll notice these guys only putting on a show for their home fans, could be wrong but that's how I see it. Still scratching my head on the Warriors/Sharks although starting to lean towards the NZ'ers...

Weak lean to the Knights and stronger lean towards the Chooks.
Newcastle 4-1 versus the Dogs in the last five games on their home paddock. Knights still have the smallest of shots to make the eight, that tiny, minuscule glimmer of hope should be enough to get them the lollies. They also need to win big in order to sort out that terrible points differential they possess, read that as either a blessing or a burden in terms of them trying too hard to light up the scoreboard and coming up covered in shit. Dogs either show up with the sole intent of raining on the Knights picnic or realize the abortion they called a season is a brutal reality and are mentally still on the bus that brought them over. Of note is the dirty Monday night hoo-doo monkey sitting on Newcastle's back, although being this game is on a Sunday I think it loses it's power slightly...
Chooks are on a 5-0 run. Offense clicking on all cylinders. Dragons are 2-3 in their last five and their sputtering offense hasn't topped 20 points since Round 16 against the defense-less Tigers. Roosters have been making me money recently most of those as nicely priced underdogs and there is no way the bookies would make them favorites over the Premiership darling Dragons although they bloody well should be. Short price on the front runners is sure to attract the punters and Rooster doubters who are waiting for this team to hit the inevitable wall yet the value once again IMO lies squarely with the Chooks. Never one to step in front of a moving train I will more than likely be on the Roosters to make it six on the trot. Concerns are the Chooks recent track record versus St. George and that this match is Bennett's 600th but those aren't enough to scare me off...

| The Dragons side set to take the field in this match is the strongest they’ve had for a number of weeks and have a very menacing look to them, particularly in the forwards and with the old combo of Gasnier and Cooper in the Centres I’m sure we’ll see something special and receive a timely reminder of the Dragons premiership credentials following a rough month of results. The Roosters were brilliant last week in destroying the Eels but will find this match a much tougher prospect as they face a much more complete Dragons side who have the weight of experience on their side and will be wanting to celebrate Wayne Bennett’s 600th NRL game as coach in style with a big win for the great man. Carney and Pierce will come under more pressure in this match than they’ve had all season and they won’t have the luxury of being behind a dominant forward pack, as has been the case of late. Geez a "rather comortable Dragons win"??
The Dragons play to grind you into submission and it never looks easy. I think the Dragons are vulnerable to a team that can put points on the board quickly i.e Raiders in round watever. Why because it forces the Dragons to chase the game which isnt how they play. If it comes to a grind Dragons will win but if the Roosters dot a couple down early which I think they can do. The Dragons will be forced to chase this one with an attcking lineup that is out of sorts.
