^ wouldn't read anything into that emkee. The books have tread a bit lightly with the storm for most of this season since they were signed and sealed 'spooners'. I mean, look back a few weeks ago when they were -4 favourites at home to the Cowboys and denargenized them 58-12.
Its all to do with the undcertainty (from the books point of view) as to where their motivation levels are at. They've had a particularly draining week this with the news of GI heading north and the emotion ect of that + reports of Cameron Smith spending most of the week getting R&R in Port Douglas. So its a bit of a guessing game as to how 'up' they're going to be these games.
They're a 20+ point winner today if they collectively decide to "bring it" and run roughshod over this depleted Souths side. But at the end of the day they don't have anything to play for besides pride and Souths have everything to gain from winning, so books are sort of setting this line around the 6-8 pt mark and letting punters take a guess at which jeckyl or hyde side turns up today.
