Sry to hijack thread Mila but quick golf question for snake as i am playing in a couple of hours
Do you play 15cm prefered lies on fairways?
Do you use a pitching wedge around the green or like a 52 degree wedge?
Playing out of thick rough 50-80 meters out would you use a normal shot or a bump and run?

If the course conditions are clean and place own mowen fairway there would be a place of 15 cms.
I have 3 wedges and a PW. I have 58, 54 and 50. So use which i think is apporopiate really.
My advice is around the green is if can play a chip and run do it as its the easiest shot to play and allows most room for error.
From that distance i would play like a SW or the like and play like half to 3/4 shot as will have more control and flight the ball most the way to the hole and not rely on getting good boucnes

Thanks mate, I agree about the chip and run (easier said than done for me), Really want to get down to NZ and play some of your courses ours will be getting quiet dry over the next month or so
