Dogs v Penrith

ok........

4 from 4 on the weekend so far including the ripper Sharks @ 3.50........

This is where i am going to run into trouble.....My bets on the dogs are all based on emotion and no objectivity.......and as the dogs have gone like shit so have i with there bets........

The 1st 2 rounds they turned up with a very very poor attitude, believed in there hype and just thought by turning they would win.......

Then in the middle they jumped on the rooters who were very poor, tigs as they were struggling...also broncs when they had all there injuuries......

All there wins where they led at half time and all wins by big margins.......

They havent won once coming from behind.....not behind at any stage during the game, if everythinbg didnt go there way then they werent intersted........

Tonight, both teams missing key players, Ennis, BK and Idris.

O/U is at 40.5 which is very low, the only thing is that they are predicting rain otherwise it wont be that low.

Will wait for the weather otherwise i will take the dogs, i cannot ever go against them......

Does the weather have that much of an influence?

Last year against the roosters, the Panthers scored over 40 points in a game where to say it was driving rain is a damn understatement............This year, Penrith v roosters, in beautiful sunshine on a Sunday arvo, they combined to score 30 odd points????????????

would have to be one hell of a downpour to warrant the 40.5 on offer atm imo.

whatever though, because rugby league totals are about the most random thing you can bet imo and whatever it is I won't be bothering with it.

Huge night for Ben Barber tonight imo.

Seems like this "wunderkid" has been a fringe-dwellar for about the last eight thousand years. Clearly there are doubts about his ability to take the next step in the NRL. Tonight he gets a chance.

He is probably in the top 3 players in the league attack wise....extreme acceleration off the mark straight and laterally and can find gaps...........

He really only creates for himself, he doesnt create for others....

Fullback is his best position........he aint no half..........

The biggest issue is his defence, he at times shows really good technique but when his technique is not there he is merely a speed hump...........

In 2 - 3 yrs time i could easily see him as the next Matt Bowen

Will never ever ever ever forget in 08, Dogs v Cows up at Suncorp, i had over 48 in a game....46 was scored, Dogs field the ball 1 metre out from there own try line as the full time siren goes off, ball goes to Barba 99 metres out , 2 chip and chases later including him having to run outside the touchline just after he kicked the ball.....he regathers and scores........One of the most freakish things i have seen and i have watched alot of footy
