12 points went there way from direct luck........
That was the difference.......
From the outset you could see the refs had them in there pockets......Then when the lead blew out, the refs did there best to even the ledger knowing it was still a lost cause......
The cows recieved the majority of there penalties 10 meteres out from the Broncs line.....Where as the Broncs recieved a number on the 5th tackle 40 metres out from thete line......
The refs all along knew what was required for this game....I was on another forum, non punters, they dont even follow either team and they all said how woeful and biased the refereeing was in that game........Again, they werent gamblers and they werent Cows supporters either.

So let me get this straight.....
Bill Harrigan was the video ref at the Dragons v Sea Eagles game last year. Mark Gasnier CLEARLRY lost the ball over the line. EVERY COMMENTATOR, EVERY FAN, EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING THAT SAW IT THE FIRST TIME SAW THAT HE LOST THE BALL. yet, after 5 goes, Bill Harrigan awareded it a try.
Then Bill Harrigan blamed it on the TV screen........
Then Bill Harrigan becomes YOUR NRL REFEREES BOSS...
OVERUNDER = BILL HARRIGANS PUPPET......

The video referee when adjuticating on this decision
1. Was NOT under fatigue as he was not running
2. Was not looking at something else when the action occured
3. Was not blind sighted when the action occured.
4. Had replay after replay after replay after replay of the action.
5. Had multiple angles of the action with perfect view on each occassion.
6. Was ABSOLUTELY not grey in any area of the decsion.
7. Every fan, commentator, human being that saw the replay saw it was not a try.
NOW, LOSER, give me one good, valid plausable explanation as to why he gave the try other than he had money on the game?
If you cannot, then just go back into your room and keep pulling Johnsont till it makes you better. And until you cant, then keep your mouth shut.....

It's stupid to keep bitching about luck. I go into league knowing this, that's why I use totals so much. I also think it's dumb to bet 4-8 matches every week on point spreads alone. It's also why I'm currently on a stupid 9 match total streak, and most everyone here knows more about the sport than I do, even though I've been on it for a good 10 years now.
There are only so many value options every week in league. The same teams are grooving differently from week to week or find some consistency in a small stretch. It happens every week and we see it year after year.
That's why in American football my NFL $$$ only amounts to maybe 20-25 percent of my weekly investments when compared to college ball, and I got freakin 32 teams to choose from, sans the bye weeks.
Make it easier - take 1-2 of your units, cherry-pick the best 1-2 ML teams every week, and tack on 1, 2, 3 other options....be it point spreads, totals, other ML etc anything. League odds come out early in the week and one should be able to find 1-2 other high value options over the next 3-5 days, if not from some other sport.
I'll take anyone on in a league pick em comp, just as long as you have to pick the spread and I get to pick the moneyline. We both know who's going to win that one.
There is a huge chunk of what I bet on league that I don't even bother posting, all because no one really combines league with baseball.
If one has to keep learning it the hard way without finding an easier angle to hit here and there, then you pay the price if you insist on playing the game.

Yep Norseman.....US College Football is the way to go. Love me the late-night west-coast halftime spreads. Soft as butter. Nothing gets me lathered up like a 1:30 a.m. Wyoming v. Montana HT line or a New Mexico State v. San Jose State HT line, especially when the game in on some tv station.
As for luck, look at it this way. Imagine the match result is predetermined BEFORE it even begins. It was ALWAYS MEANT TO BE that way. So, even before you place a wager, the match is decided. The players are in the condition they are in and the refs are in the mood they are in. It's all decided....it's just yet to play out.
Like a DVD movie you rent. The film's conclusion is already played out and the bad guy gets killed. But you don't know that yet. You have to sit their for two hours and watch it unfold.
If you look at it that way, luck doesn't phase you as much.
The only thing that still hurts, even with this mind-set, is a obvious blown call. A try, that is 100% a try, not awarded, etc. That falls outside the boundaries of this explanation.
Of course, a lot of punters won't buy into this line of rationale, but it is what I believe and it makes betting and the bad beats that inevitably follow more tolerable to handle.
