and there we have it. The worst NRL round for me ever.
Four games and I got all four of them completely fucking upside down and back the front 
Eels and Broncos win next week

attack was piss poor. i have never been impress with their attack even through the season.never any 2nd phase plays, grubbers behind the line to at least get a repeat set. it seems like its all robotic. they have 4 options, hornby short ball to creagh at the line or a 2nd man play to boyd, and on the other side its either soward kicking the bomb or cut out pass to his centre/winger, not enough variety.

Interesting little trend in this weekend's finals - every team that won, reversed the result from the last time they met their opponent. Not really all that surprising in a competition as ridiculously even as this one.
And again next weekend, we have two matchups with a relatively short turnaround time from their most recent meeting.
It'll be quite amazing to see the Eels posted as a 10 point favourite (well that's my "guestimation" anyway) against the Titans when you think only eight or so weeks ago the Titans were a 10 point favourite when they hosted the Eels.
will be interested to see what the line on the Broncos vs Dragons game is. I expect something close to a pick'em.

I wonder what the Eels' premiership odds would tumble to if Jarrod Hayne fell down a flight of stairs tomorrow and was ruled out for the rest of the season ? They're currently just behind Melbourne at $3.65
ie, has any one player held the fate of a team in his hands to degree that Hayne does with the Eels at the moment ? I think only Andrew Johns at the Knights would come close.

probably because suncorp stadium is far and away the least intimidating 'away' venue in the history of rugby league. The one and only night that ground comes close to being partisan is on state of origin.
