Seems like the prudent thing to do on Day 1 is to take the dog vs the massively heavy favorite. A lot of blue chip teams got kicked in the teeth yesterday. As someone who played college ball I'm surprised.

 Abbott is prone to give up a couple runs but has settled down recently. Early game with decent starters so I see a first-half lower scoring game. Both bullpens are suspect, I actually give a lean to the reds for a value play for a game 1. Once the starters leave, you could take live action for runs in 2H.

Account for starter pitcher strength today, 1H not a ton of runs. Bullpen factor is different.

Phillies also just used their best relief pitchers in Gm1. Keep in mind for the 2nd game.

Yep, Ginkel was a total "gas can" last week. Completely on the GM and Coach for continuing to have him on the roster/playing him.
