Just one Alabama resident's thoughts... I think Saban got exactly what he wanted out of the VT game and didn't have to show a damn thing on offense to win the game. VT will prove to have a great d by the end of the year. Alabama's green o line will show improvement and should push the A/M d line around. I also predict Johnny throws a pick six at some point in this game. He's going to get punished and it wouldn't shock me if he doesn't even finish this game. I too got exactly what I wanted out of the VT game. I've had this Bama/A/M circled for months, waiting to drop a large sum on Alabama. I hoped for VT the game to cause concerns about Alabama to keep this line down as much as possible. I believe Alabama only went 7-6 ats last season. Not great, but this Auburn grad has made quite a bit of money off them these last 4 seasons when they play in these marquee games. Final prediction: Alabama 31 Texas A&M 17 |

well i think lsu has done great at stopping spread offenses all year but now they will face bamas pro style, run up middle rushing attack which to me is why i lean bama here. that will neutralize their speed at defensive end. look for bama to go w/ intermediate passing routes. as far as lsu on offense, i think bama shuts down their rushing and forces lee to beat them. lee will throw 2 picks in this game i predict. and to those who say bama struggled in some first 2 quarters against vandy/tenn... tenn was moved ball on them, wvu moved the ball on them, they barely covered against miss st, and lets face it oregon game couldve been much closer if not for 2 critical turnovers in short span. anyways ive been good at predicting bama in their big games... ive only posted a few times and may be wrong but i think bama at home wins 27 to 17. ps lee will throw a pick 6 |

LSU 38-17... maybe not even that close... don't think about it too long. It's Miss. St. vs LSU. I agree w/ some of what 2fordamoney says here but I will respectfully disagree w/ that analysis for this game. I could wind up being a "sucka" though as he stated... we shall see! Good luck to all of you heading into the weekend!

greetings, well lets see... a very very average georgia team comes from 14 behind and gets ball at midfield with a chance to win before eventually losing to arkansas last week.... bama has covered every game since prevailing in a close call against auburn last fall...i will take bama every week... and i mean every week until they dont cover... in fact i hope florida blows out kentucky just so next week when they come to tuscaloosa it will keep the line even lower so i can quadruple up on bama for the season....good luck to anyone who takes arkansas in this game... you will be making your bookies smile.... arkansas 20 bama 45. sincerely, auburn grad/fan |

i went to auburn so i'm no means a big bama fan. however, bama covered alot last year and i see them covering this one easily. i have been mediocre picking games overall so im no expert but i just cant see penn st scoring more than 14 in this game. that freshman qb will not be able to move that offense consistently down the field and i think bama will wear that penn st defense down with their smashmouth style. believe me i live in birmingham, it is going to be humid and hot as hell down here sat. night. and penn st will suffer. some local experts say down here this could be a 4 td win but im not buying into that. bama lost alot of talent on defense but to anyone who doesn't follow these guys... you are in for a wakeup call... the replacements are less experienced but still very talented and the whole offense is back minus ingram but richardson is very very good. having said all that i predict bama wins 31 to 13. they did have a couple close calls last year... this won't be one of them. easy money... im out! |

I'm an Auburn grad and it's just tiring how noone nationally challenges what a joke bama's claim to 12 titles is... like how one year they get voted the title before their bowl game and then they lost the bowl game... having said that... bama will win their next title, however many that actually is depends on what team you side w/.... i say bama 34 texas 20.... and fyi don't take those "extendz" pills they advertise on tv... i took them for 2 months and i got excited because I thought that i had 10 inches... then i realized i was measuring from the wrong end of the ruler...

I am an Auburn grad and I can tell you Auburn always plays terrible in these early games. Noel Devine punished us earlier this year and our defense can't stop anyone. I was at the Auburn v Kentucky game... it was pitiful. I believe Dexter McC. and Ole Miss will give Auburn another blow out loss. Auburn only scored one offensive td against Kentucky and then one on the last play of the game against LSU. Ole Miss wins this one 28-13

I can't figure out this game. I jumped on bama big when they opened at -6.5. I have seen this bama team each week and I just don't see how ole miss will keep this close. Can anyone tell me how this line continues to drop? And what is your opinion overall on the game? Help!
