I had been waiting for this game all summer to load up on Bama, then sit back and watch them destroy A&M, like real bad.  Now, I am not so confident about this being easy for the Tide.  I still think they will be focused and motivated from the upset of last year, but they have some real questions on the offensive line, and some minor ones on defense.  Hard to tell much about A&M because they have played no one to test them yet.  Honestly, I didn't think Va Tech would test Alabama much either but they limited the running game and pressured McCarron (maybe for the first time jn his career).  Will wait to see other evaluations and study this some more.  Going to be a great game to watch anyway but not sure it is going to be a big money maker for me.  Lot of emotions in this game for players on both sides.

Tides off.line has some weak spots in it.If not for their special teams the VT game would have been alot closer.Even though A&M still has 4 players suspended.I'll still take Johnny Football and the 8pts.I hope they kill Nicky Satan and the best team money can buy

if anyone saw VT play last wk....very legit D..they deserve some credit. TxA&M D is absolutely swiss cheese right now. With the wk off i expect a huge outing for bama  offense.. if theres a prop with Yeldon tds i ll take 2 all day poss 3.  Bama will be able to get the necessary stops..i expect none for aggs. ROLL TIDE

Yeah bama's o line looked like garbage but give Nick Saban time to plan and he destroys you. See ndame, lsu, Texas, etc. The tide will go down soon but not to Johnny "George Dickel" Drunkziel. Bammy gives him 40 oz to freedom. Ala for the large!!!

I like the new names for immature Johnny, Money Badger and Johnny Cash.  Kid is a total jerk and deserves to have his behind handed to him.  I think Bama could certainly do it but they don't look invincible to me this year.  LSU will be a very tough test, as well as UGA in Atlanta.  Bama gets their revenge in College Station, but do they cover.  The Tide offense is iffy and A&M's defense will be jacked by the crowd.

Bama is the type of team that grinds you up. Their kryptonite is a crafty mobile QB...his disruptive style of play cause problems for the big lugs. And the moxy!!!...carving out the heart of all conforming ...HATERS!! Those are the intangibles required to beat such a very sound pro style team.

Bama didn't show much on offense against v-tech.. Luckily their special teams covered.. Not to mention v-tech's D looks really good this year.. My question is how will TAMU's D hold up against Bama? Rice was able to move the ball pretty well, gotta believe Bama will be able to as well..

I like Texas A&M + 7 1/2 in this game, even though Manziel is an fool!! Bama does NOT look like bama so far after one game. They do have 2 weeks to prepare for Manziel. With Manziel's abilility to NOT get sacked at all. I feel A&M will come out the winners in this game.

I really think Bama didn't show much on offense on purpose.. I've heard they actually game planned for TAMU most of the summer instead of Virginia Tech.. I think that has some truth to it.. If that is the case I don't think Bama will let off the gas against TAMU.. I think they'll smack Manziel around and send a message to the country with a huge win..

agree 100% even though I doubt they need to remind the players of any revenge factor.  Alabama travels very well (team and fans) and will unleash it all on this team Saturday.  The extra week to prepare combined with the fact that Tx. A&M has had two scrimmage games is another plus on the bama side of the ledger IMO.  If this were 4 or 5, I'd hit it hard, but still like bama at -7.5

Saban is so prepared for Manziel and TAMU this season! Flashbacks of the year LSU beat Bama and then Bama totally dominated LSU in the BCS championship game that same year! Bama will be ready!!!!

Just one Alabama resident's thoughts...

I think Saban got exactly what he wanted out of the VT game and didn't have to show a damn thing on offense to win the game.  VT will prove to have a great d by the end of the year.  Alabama's green o line will show improvement and should push the A/M d line around.  I also predict Johnny throws a pick six at some point in this game.  He's going to get punished and it wouldn't shock me if he doesn't even finish this game. 

I too got exactly what I wanted out of the VT game.  I've had this Bama/A/M circled for months, waiting to drop a large sum on Alabama.  I hoped for VT the game to cause concerns about Alabama to keep this line down as much as possible.

I believe Alabama only went 7-6 ats last season.  Not great, but this Auburn grad has made quite a bit of money off them these last 4 seasons when they play in these marquee games.

Final prediction:  Alabama 31    Texas A&M 17

A&M's rush defense is garbage through 2 games.  2 easy games for that matter...Rice, SHSU???  Come on.  I fully expect Bama to be able to march the ball on these guys.  Maybe Bama looked weak at oline against VaTech, but this one is a different story.  You are gonna have 5 very pissed off, large individuals slamming the ball at the Ags.  The 8 points kinda throws me off a little as Bama still won't have all their kinks worked out enough to just mudhole A&M.  Maybe buy it down to 7 or 6.5 and load up.  Would certainly pass before I sided with A&M in this one.  Make no mistake, their homefield has NOT been a big advantage in years.
