Whistling Straits Pete Dyes links style course on Lake Michigan. A "Dyeabolical" design by one of the best at 7507 yards built right on the shore of Lake Michigan and with an 18th hole of the same name.
What can you say about this golf course it has it all,long.tight,tough rough and hard greens and if the wind blows..forget about it.A premium on driving, iron play and sand and the ability to scramble around this track are a must and then you have to putt it and if the wind blows... forget about it.
As all major championships should be Whistling Straits is the perfect venue for the fans and a great test for the pro's at the perfect time of the year for the Great Lakes.
The golf course sets up for many left sided drives and the ability to hit it high here and land it soft is what makes Whistling Straits different than many other links courses but if the wind blows.. forget about it.Bring your sand iron.
