Alex Noren ov Brooks Koepka

This is basically a play against Brooks Koepka.  3 out of the last 4 tourneys he’s missed the cut…the other tournament he finished 42nd.  He’s not right.  Alex Noren is from the European Tour so PGA fans may not know a ton about him, but he’s finished 21st, and 13th the last 2 tourney’s on that tour, and shot -9, and -10 in those tournaments.

Bill Haas ov Emiliano Grillo

(Talked about Haas on the podcast...he's been great, and we love him a lot for Draftkings)...three top 20 finishes in 2017.  Grillo cost me money last week, but Grillo wasn’t great.  He was just a couple shots better than Ollie Shenanigans.  Last 4 tournaments for Grillo he has a missed cut, 33rd, 63rd, 43rd.

Jon Rahm ov Justin Thomas

Since Hawaii, Justin Thomas has 2 missed cuts and a 39th.  The Hammer has been great recently.  last 3 tourneys all of them top 16, and 2 top 5’s in that span.

Sergio Garcia ov Justin Thomas

Since Hawaii, Justin Thomas has 2 missed cuts and a 39th.  I hate betting on Sergio, both because he can be disappointing, but mostly because he refused to fist bump me at the tournament we were at when he walked right by us.  Maybe that’s because I was drunk as sh*t, and slurring my words, but still…f*ck that guy.  Sergio has 3 finishes inside the top 15 in 4 of his last tournaments.

Hideto Tanihara ov Fabrizio Zanotti

Tanihara has 6 straight tournaments he’s played in where he’s finished 27th or better, including 2 top 5’s in 3 of the last tourneys.  Zanotti meanwhile has a weird recent form.  He won last tourney he played in which was the Maybank Championship.  Before that…3 Missed Cuts, and no rounds under par.  I think the Maybank was an outlier.

Thomas Pieters ov Bubba Watson

Bubba has a missed cut and a withdraw in his last 2 tourneys, and he doesn’t pass the eye test right now.  People are going to look at his history at this tourney, but they may not take into account this a different course.  Bubba has 3 straight top 3 finishes here, but that doesn’t matter if you aren’t playing good this year.  Pieters has been inconsistent, but he’s got 3 top 25 finishes, and 2 missed cuts in 2017 on the PGA and European Tours, so when he’s good, he’s really good.

Kaymer ov Reed

Reed has not been good recently.  68th, 23rd, 59th his last 3.  Kaymer is massively undervalued, two top 5’s in the last 4 tourneys.  He’s just really good.

I jumped all over these two @ South Point Casino sportsbook when it opened along with Pat Perez -110 over Branden Grace. Pieters may have "blown up" last week BUT got T-2nd @ Riveria the week before. also considering Tyrell Hatton even over Paul Casey and Byeong-Hun An +105 over Russell Knox

a LOT of high odds "live dogs" this tourney. I "sprinkled" $2 to $5 on oodles of them. just about ALL of them are either recent winners OR top finishers. tough when you have ALL the "top guns" playing this week but "HEY!!! Ya Never KNOW!!!" with golfers

Was on the fence about Hun An ov Knox...but eventually didn't pull the trigger.  I believe Hun An is the correct side to be on though.

great job while i was away.  honestly, i didn't know if alan would be able to carry on in my absence but it looks like this train keep rolling.  my influence must be greater and more persisting than i thought.

incidentally, i was in new mexico on vacation and i learned something that will help us win some money for this mexican tournament this weekend. the first night we go to an authentic new mexican restaurant because i can't get that garbage where i live.  great f*cking food but it destroyed my stomach.  they say you have to be careful eating the food and drinking the water in mexico.  apparently, that advice applies equally to new mexico too.  not sure what it is about mexican food but as my mom once said, that's probably why they are still a third world country.

anyway, not sure how these golfers are going to get around the food issue this weekend.  you can't win a golf tournament when your stomach is blowing up.  i guess you want to take anyone who is mexican, who has lived in mexico or who goes to mexico over spring break.  those guy must have developed some kind of immunity to the food over there.

garcia sounds mexican.  trump tells us anyone with a hispanic sounding name is mexican.  also illegal.  probably a criminal.  anyway, maybe that guy will win. 

also, that kaymer/reed matchup appears to be off.  something about reed eating a roadside taco last night and washing it down at water fountain in a questionable tijuana neighborhood.  i doubt we'll be hearing much from his for a while.  also, he should probably count his kidneys when he wakes up today.

matsuyama is actually my sleeper this week.  you might think, it's a long f*cking way from rice bowls with vegetables to the stomach churning slop they serve in mexico, but the sushi in japan is now radioactive from all of the nuclear waste they dump into the ocean and if that doesn't fortify a guy's stomach, i'm not sure what will.
