Tyrell Hatton ov Henrik Stenson

This last season Hatton was really good early, and then fell apart.  He fired his caddie, and proceeded to finish 3rd, 8th, 1st, 1st.  And that was against good competition.  Stenson has decent course history here, finishing 2nd here last year, but that was off his ridiculous end of the year finish where he was playing the best golf on either tour.  Right now, he only has one finish inside the top 10 since June, and that was a win at the Wyndham with no competition.  I don’t think he’s ready to compete for a win, I think Tyrell Hatton can compete for his third straight win.

Patrick Cantlay ov Adam Scott

We’re gonna make money off of Patrick Cantlay this season, and it starts this week against Adam Scott.  Cantlay finished really strong, I love how he managed himself this season and didn’t play too many tournaments, his last 4 tournaments of the year, 20th, 9th, 13th, 10th.  He has elite talent, the last season was a fantastic comeback off the injury and tragedy he had…I think this is the year he elevates into that next group of golfers.  Last 2 tournaments they played in together Cantlay finished was ahead of Adam Scott, Scott not real impressive last week finishing 25th in a fairly weak field.  I think Adam Scott has struggled since he and his wife had their baby.

Lucas Glover ov Peter Uihlein

Lost a bet in tremendous fashion against him 2 weeks ago…I don’t care I think Peter Uihlein sucks, and Lucas Glover is a better golfer.  Lucas Glover 30th, 7th, 15th the last 3 weeks, so he’s in a nice groove.  I don’t know what else to say about Peter Uihlein, he’s inconsistent, I don’t think he’s on the same level as someone like Lucas Glover.  Uihlein needed a web.com tour win to get his PGA tour card, and even then he missed the cut in some of those tournaments.  I’ll take Glover to play better than Uihlein in a strong field.

Marc Leishman ov Dustin Johnson

Like a moron I bet against Marc Leishman last week, Leishman has 3 top 3 finishes in his last 4 tournaments.  Dustin played in the Presidents Cup, but hasn’t played in an actual tournament in well over a month, and his last 3 finishes were outside the top 15.  This is a great value play where you can get Leishman at +178 in the tournament and +175 first round.  I’ll play both.

"X" a favorite of mine BUT completely "blew up" in Korea. could have been just a "brain fart" BUT could be sick or injured. Perez has had a golfing " epiphany" with a WIN @ CIMB Classic [-24] and tied 5th in Korea [-5] his last two

Francesco Molinari even over Henrick Stenson

"The Mole" has been steady all season on both the PGA and Euro Tour with tied 6th in Italy his last. Stenson with a WIN @ Wyndham but has been pretty "flat" in recent Euro Tour events. he DID get tied for 2nd here last season

Paul Dunne even over Kiradech Aphibarnrat

"A Fat Barn Rat" did get tied for 2nd last week in Italy vs a tied 26th for Dunne BUT "Young Gun" WON the British Masters where he shot a "wicked low" [-9] 61 the final round for [-20] and followed up with tied 7th @ the Alfred Dunhill Links [-13] BOTH better than the Barn Rat's finish in those tourneys

Hideki Matsuyama +110 vs Dustin Johnson

Matsuyama "straightend his putz" in the CIMB Classic with a tied for 5th [-16] after being somewhat "flat" in the FedEx "final four" BUT WON the Bridgestone with a "wicked low" final [-9] for a five shot WIN @ [-16]. he also LOVES this golf course winning here last season by SEVEN shots. Dustin WON the first of the Fed Ex "final four" The Northern BUT has NOT played since the Tour Championship

some interesting "cats & dogs" scratching and barking after 1st round. Malaysian Gaven Green tied 2nd @ [-7] Haydn Porteous (WON Czech Masters) tied 4th @ [-6] and the ChiCom Ashun Wu tied 6th [-5] along with Paul Dunne and Justin Rose.

Dunne could get into the Top 10 of Race to Dubai with WIN or high finish. he is #12 with "The Mole @ #8 stinking so far AND Rory McIlroy @ #9 NOT playing. Wu really needs a high finish as he is in danger of losing his card for next season @ 130th Race to Dubai. BOTH Dunne AND Wu should be @ [-6] BUT they BOTH "jacked" short 4 foot putts on #17 in the round

Dustin Johnson has it pretty much "locked up" @ [-17] after Brooks Koepka "blew up" on the per 5 #8 with a triple and finished [-11] I doubt DJ will bone a 6 shot lead the way he is playing 

Good God Gertie!!! Justin Rose "Shanghai's" the tourney with a final round [-5] for tourney [-14] two shot WIN over 3rd round leader Dustin Johnson, Brook Koepka and Henrik Stenson!!! DJ reverted to his "Magilla Gorilla" mode on the back nine and BLEW UP shooting a final round [+5]. watched the back nine in Golf Channel after the late college football was done AND it was just UNREAL!!!

btw, I THINK we need to STOP fading Peter Uihlein. the guy is back to his mid-summer form when he got 2nd Open de France and tied 14th Irish Open. finished tied 5th this week and tied 10th two weeks ago in Malaysia

Yeah, me and Sacker bet on him 4th round against Peters, and cashed it.  So I think we're in agreement on him.
