Tough fairways to hit, small greens, and some potential higher winds this week in Honolulu. Targeting players who are relatively accurate off the tee as it is not easy to consistently hit these greens from the rough, good mid-iron players, and superb around the green game as you will find yourself needing to scramble around here, particularly if there is substantial wind. Think it’s also important to have played last week at the sentry to get some competitive rounds in given how early we are into the season, 8 of the last 9 winners here played the previous week. I will say I love Corey Conners here, but I don’t think I can get there at his current odds. Another guy that modeled extremely well for me and checks all the boxes is Russell Henley, who has a win and 4 additional top 20’s at this event where course history has been very predictive. Also rates out as the best wind player in this field if we do indeed get a windy forecast. Will be adding a couple others still looking
