Shell Houston Open picks

Andy great call on Stenson putting so far. From what I saw on pgatour.com, he had one 3 putt in ten rounds of golf before the opening round here.His other stats look pretty solid as well. The cut should be around -1 it appears so round 2 will be interesting. Stenson had three penalty shots and two 3 putts. I am surprised he shot only two over...

Going to take a shot round 2 with Ollie -130 vs Harman. I think Schniederjans is a solid player and Harman is going to have to go pretty low to try and make the cut.Based on how he putted and struck the ball Thursday, Friday is going to be difficult. However these are professionals you never know from what day to do the next... Good luck today guys

Yeah, these plays are looking awful.  Streb may have low round of the day, and Scott looks like he forgot how to putt.

Strictly from a Fanduel perspective. My 1st pick for the Masters will be Patrick Reed. Great effort today to try to sneak in for the weekend. Probably already biting at the bit to tee it up on number 1 at Augusta. Keeping up with it on pgatour.com

Please update us on the Tourny picks.  Its looks like we are doing well.  Now if someone misses the cutt like Goosen at+3 and Stroud is at +1.  If Stroud kept playing and finished at +4 after the full 4 rounds who wins the bet.  Thanks for helping.  

As for the full tourney picks, Rahm ov Stenson is a winner...Stroud ov Goosen is a winner.  Stanley is 7 shots up on Tringale.  Tringale made the cut by one stroke, which always has me worried because he gets the morning tee time, and Stanley tees off late.  Hopefully, Cameron struggles like he did today.  Cink is 5 shots up on Jones.  So we are in good shape for the full tourney plays at this point.  But like always....there's a looooooooot of golf yet to be played.

Playing Kokrak -1/2 ov Cabrera.

What are the odds on that bet Andy? My book has Kokrak at -170 against Cabrera. Looks good but not -170 good. Cabrera loves the Masters and he may start a little run here. But I agree based on this year's form Kokrak looks solid in this spot.

I am going to take two dogs today:

Loupe +130 vs Wagner: Both guys have struggled this year. At least Loupe is putting well this week. Wagner hit 100% of the fairways Friday and shot 70. He had been averaging 59% all year so if he gets a bit wayward on Saturday it'll be interesting to see how he responds.

Henley +120 vs Fowler: Rickie has been making some bombs this week but struggled a bit Friday. I cannot help but think he is looking forward towards next week rather than putting all of his effort into this tournament. Henley is putting great and striking it well also. I won't be shocked to see him at the top after Sunday.

What is up with me picking guys who forget how to putt?  Kokrak with a 4 putt, 3 putts from within 4 feet on the first hole.

Remember that time I bet Jason Kokrak and he shot +10?  Lol

I think Rahm ov Rose is a decent play tomorrow.  Rahm will probably want to continue with his strong momentum.

It'll go Monday. Very few that are outside the top 20 are masters invites anyways. The tour will do anything possible to play four rounds. That means Monday even regardless of if it The Masters week ahead, they owe it to the sponsors. Some might WD, but I'd be willing to bet it's a handful MAYBE. Houston weather for Monday is sunny and clear.
