Let's hope Fox does a better job than last year....

It was terrible to watch last year and the people didn't seem to know what to do or say.

They are already way ahead of the golf channel because they came up with an innovative, and out-of-the-box idea to actually air a majority of the tournament as opposed to just airing the last couple hours so we can actually see more than the last group of the day playing 15,16,17,18.

yeah, but last year they were all over the place. They had so many stories that took up a ton of time. Another thing last year they had a guy in contention showed one shot and finally came back and showed the next shot about 30 minutes later. They just seemed all out of sorts last year.

Seems a lot better so far...not as many side stories.

Only thing that pisses me off is the fake sound of the ball going in the hole that they do every now and then.

they said before they have mic'd the bottom of the hole. When DeChambeau made his birdie, it made a weird sound. They used to do it with baseball a lot with the crack of the bat.

They're still a JV team........I've never been a big fan of Strange........I like Azinger......& while Holly Sonders is eye candy, she's also a bimbo.
I do like their use of the tracer.

sorry i guess i am used to the cbs and nbc crew as i just dont like the fox broadcast at all the flow the announcers etc only 1 i do like is zinger

Awful

agreed. I guess it takes time and they only do the three us opens (men's, women's seniors) and they did the amateur last year. Still CBS (even though they dropped Feherty) and NBC (where Feherty went) are above and beyond FOX.

like with Kathy Tappen, who is a studio host on the NHL channel and NBC Sports hockey coverage, FOX studio host Holly Sonders makes their US Open coverage worth watching. WHAT a BABE!!!
