The funny thing is the very guy you are defending would tell you himself if you don't win them they don't mean shit.
Check the thread. Doesn't say Tiger will never finish in top 25 in another tournament.
It's about wins. And Tiger WILL NOT win another major. Probably 3-4 more tournament wins but will never dominate again.
Give him some time to come around...how can you say all this after what he has been through in the last year...surgery and being a playboy...I love how people say these things after such little time for rebound!

Why are these excuses?? He created the whole thing himself.
And his troubles were exposed when Y.A. Yang defeated him. It's almost like the Tyson loss to Douglas. Looked like a fluke until yrs later when Tyson never regained the dominance he had.

But YOU ARE GUARANTEEING these things after a year...you can't compare that to Tiger! You can have your opinions but if he is still having these problems after 2 more years..then you can say it!

You don't even realize how much RESPECT you are giving Tiger right now. Tiger does not win a major for two years and your saying his dominant streak is over?
You are giving Tiger so much respect right now, its really makes me sick.
Your saying Tiger is not dominate and you also said Tiger is having a bad year.
Tiger Woods is having a above average year. Also Tiger can do something that only 4 other golfers did in the last 10 years. That is DOMINATE no matter how the fuck you look at it.

Welcome back SI, did your book ask for the money back you won on Woody after 4 holes of the PGA? Another major, no Tiger, not even in contention this time. You keep convincing yourself he's not having a bad year. Woody is compared to the best ever, not average players as you've claimed in approximately 50 posts.

Well I guess he didn't accomplish the Top 25 goal now did he?? But I suppose coming close qualifies as an above avg year.
His golf game is a wreck. Finished dead last in the field in fairways hit. I wish Tiger would make up his mind. Forever he said it was a process and everything was slowly coming together. Now he says it will take awhile.
The guy doesn't have a fucking clue where he's at right now. Picking him for the Ryder Cup would be a huge mistake. The U.S. will lose anyway so they should take a deserving younger player and give him some experience for future Cups.
Well Tiger at least you have 1 fan on here who is proud of your above average year. I'm sure you will cherish that.

I'm sure you already know but Tiger did before in his career. He did MULTIPLE times in her career. Only 15 golfers did it in the HISTORY of golf. Missing it by 1 stroke today just shows how hard that feat really is.
CBS said this is the first time in 6 years that Tiger went 2 straight majors with a TOP 10. That is truely UNBELIVABLE. I'll bet my life that record will NEVER EVER be broken.
Tiger Woods now has over 70k more then the average PGA pro. Tiger had an above average year.

Just to let you know, Tiger Woods is still the #1 player in the world. Almost ONE FULL YEAR went by and Tiger still holds the number 1.
I just ask for 10 seconds of your time. Think about it. Really think about it. Tiger's year is strong enough to hold that #1 ranking even when the #2 player in the world won the Masters. This just shows Tiger's year is decently strong.

The way the rankings work there isn't much movement over a short period of time. The fact is over the course of the year Tiger has lost considerable points off of his lead. It's only a matter of time before he drops to #2 or #3. At least.
So enjoy it while he still has the top rank because he won't have it for long.
And nobody is discounting what he has done in his career with majors, etc. But this year has been a disaster and he is a shell of his former self.

All right SI, you wore me down, he's having an above average year. I thought the guy wanted to be measured against the best ever.
NO majors for 2 straight seasons. Youth on that tour now is unbelievable (McIlroy, Johnson, Day, Kaymer, Kim, et al) and they have their heads screwed on straight. I'll also agree Tiger is an average, ok above average golfer now and likely in the future. His days of no. 1 in the world won't make it past next month.

Tiger for Tiger standards, the most dominate FOR ANY SPORT standards, then yeah he is having a down year.
Vegas said he is having a bad year. In which he is CLEARLY not having a bad year. Youth yeah, Tiger at 34 loses at lot of distance.

Name the last 12 major winners on tour. The youngest winner was age 29. All their guys was in their 30's.
Furyk, Els, Phil, are all over the age of 37 yet their DOMINATING the PGA tour this year. Age aint taking over anything

Did you say most dominant? He ain't no Federer or Nadal for that matter. He may squeek to Jack but that still leaves him short of Roger. Poor wittle tiger.

What are you talking about? I hate when people are so clueless about golf, yet want to add their opinion in here. I hate to do this but I have too. I'm going to straight OWN and STUMP you here.
It's by leaps and bounds easier for a player to win a TENNIS TOURNAMENT then a golf touranment. It's so much EASIER to it's really like night and day.
Example you ask? Look at the last two years in the Majors. YE Yang, Lucas Glover, Graeme Mcdowell, and yesderdays winner Kaymer. All of them had world ranking of #25 or higher. Two of them Yang and Glover who were not even in top 150. So here I ask, can you name 2 people ranked #150 or higher that won a tennis major the last 2 years? For that matter I don't think you can name a player that was ranked #25 or higher.
In a tennis major, there are only about 8 legit players who can acutally win the tournament. A agrument can made for maybe 12 but if you look at the last 25 major winners, the list would be very repeatable. For golf, out of the field of around 144, I'd say 120 can walk away with the trophy.
Roder's career is cleary degrading as you can see in his last few majors. He has TOPS another 2 years of compeitive tennis left in him.
Roder: 62 Titles 16 Grand slam titles
Tiger: 71 Titles 14 Majors
Els, Furyk and Phil are straight domainting the PGA TOUR this year. Those are the TOP 3 money winners. Kenny Perry a few years ago at age 48 had three wins in a calender year. So it's clear Tiger has many more years left in him.
OWNAGE 101 IN SESSION.

SI - How much did you win on Woody winning the PGA this week?
"No way he loses, unless he gets injured".
What's that about youth again? A 25 year old won and a 21 year old tied for second. The same 21 year old was 3rd with a round in the 80's at the British Open. The young players are coming HARD.
How much loot did you burn on Woody?

Are you really that dumb? Look at the past 30 majors and tell me their average. It's WELL OVER 30. What was that about youth again?

Tiger is only a couple of years away from having to go back to tour school to get his card back. One good thing he will receive a few sponsors exemptions to tournaments because some of the sponsors will still feel the same way you do superiornofuckingsight.
