Fitzpatrick has been playing solid golf, but this is his first start at Riv - a track where course knowledge goes a long way. Really don't see why he is favored here.

- Champ's driving prowess is no doubt an asset here, however it has produced a pair of MC's in his lone 2 starts. Cam Smith is 4 for 4 in made cuts and has averaged +1.03 true strokes gained in his 16 rounds here. I like him at plus odds this week.
Adam Hadwin (+103) over Scottie Scheffler - 1U
- Scheffler was red-hot in the fall, but may finally be cooling off after missed cuts at Torrey and Scottsdale. Hadwin is 5 for 5 in made cuts at Riviera, averaging +1.06 true strokes gained in his 20 rounds. Late/slow start to his season after wife having a baby, but I expect him to start rounding into form.
Bubba Watson (+150) over Xander Schauffele - 0.5U
- Just a small value play here. While Xander's only 2 starts here have been 9th and 15th, Bubba is a 3-time champ and has finished 6th and 3rd in his last 2 starts coming into this week. I see this as a coin flip, so getting +150 odds is worth a sprinkle.
