I understand your frustration qball...but if I allowed changes to all the picks before they teed off...there would be no point to getting the picks in...you could just pick two shmucks who tee off early...wait to see who I post as the competition, and then adjust accordingly.
In the regular season when you are not playing against another person it is perfectly fine, but in a head to head matchup I can't allow those late changes ya know?
Just hope that Matsuyama misses the cut and whoever makes the cut sucks on the weekend.
Gotta also incentivize the regular season guys that dominated.

I'm confused. You allow people to change their double points pick but not a regular pick? Its not like I switched a player to someone who he took. I only asked for the change so that we didn't have the same pick. I didn't change just to change. Changing a pick has no affect on a head to head competition as the golfers themselves don't play against each other

You are confused that you shouldn't have the advantage of trying to change your picks after seeing mine to gain an advantage after I absolutely dominated you during the regular season? If we could do that I would have just changes Kuch to Rory.
Rory playin well now and Hideki going to miss the cut so you still have a chance of pulling the upset but please stop whining after barely sneakig into the playoffs

you sir are an idiot. Please tell me how I would gain an advantage? You on the other hand changing your pick to what I have would be an advantage. We are allowed to change out double points pick so how is this any different than that? Obviously picks can be changed and they were.
I finished 2nd last year and 1st the year before and didn't win in the playoffs just like you won't this year

Just remember back to the first year I did this when I didn't allow any pick changing!
qball...i know you are done with arguing this, but the main reason is to actually give an advantage to the guys in the regular season who did better and to also make it fair so that everyone in the playoffs has a chance. Being able to know who your competition picked and being able to change your pick after that knowledge just didn't seem fair to me.
As always, all rules are able to change from year to year, so if the consensus agrees that we need to change that rule heading into next year's playoffs, I will be more than willing to do so.
