I tried betting golf for the first time this past tourney. And I just dont know if you can actually turn a profit from betting golf, I am asking for any tips or suggestions on helping me if I want to keep betting golf, Like should I bet Pre-Tourney or wait to bet Live betting while the tourney is going, How much Units should i bet ($100 1unit), any help would be appreciated thanks.

Golf is my most lucrative sport for gambling. I have hit a dozen winners this season, 2 euro, and ten PGA. There is also a lot of course history that can be found, plus stats are readily available. You do your research, you can make serious coin. Good luck

I'm not your best example as I have always just done it my way I played long before stats were as available and I kept my own so I always felt a slight edge there but these days the books have sharpened and every swing by every player is recorded on multiple sites so stats are easily available for those that like to research.
I start with a stake and blunder my way through playing combinations of futures full tourney plays and H2H's I try to manage my money and not chase to much but have been known to succumb to a pursuit or two every season risking way more than I should. For me gambling is as much of a feel thing as it is stats I cap my considered match ups by comparing all the relevant stats I can find. I cap the course separately and set what I think are the players that can thrive on that type of course. If I find players that I like on a particular course that have a decent future payout I play a few. But H2H is really where I make my money but I will admit it's getting MUCH harder to find value and the juice in golf has become just stupid. Multiple books is the only smart way to go but I do most of my serious play with a local so payment is at least a viable option as opposed to the dog and pony show you have to go through to try and pull funds back from offshore.
I wish I had some secret winning formula I could share but I have never found one other than paying close attention and loving the game enough to stay with it for many years. Best advice is to make your play within your means and enjoy the freedom to make a wager while we still have it?
