3rd round matchp bets question

Placing bet on 3rd round match up does the final score at end of tournament count for win or just whos ahead after 3rd round wins bet. sorry for silly question just new to this..

Neither! It's whoever scores better just in the 3rd round. Not every matchup begins with the golfers having the same score. You pick a guy who starts round 3 2 shots back but finishes 1 shot back and you win! Does that make sense?

In other words its 0-0 or E-E at the start of the round
