tsjerome, that will piss me off if the Hilton does that... they have always been totally spineless... i agree with you, if the books are worried about getting killed, make the fucking line higher... that is the whole point!  if you are worried that everyone will bet the Pats, set a line that is too high for them to cover and snake everybody's money...
 
fuckin' Hilton... they have been doing that shit for ages... i even remember getting into it with the manager there a long time ago about not putting lines up on certain games...
 
an another note... why has the line moved up by a TD but the total hasn't budged?  the Over seems like the obvious bet, and you would think if everyone loves NE to cover a huge spread they would also like the Over... do people really think Westbrook is gonna get totally shut down?  i realize McNabb isn't playing, but Feeley has started quite a few games in his day... all they need is a couple TDs and NE can't cover without it going Over...

Over baby, 50.5 is a gift and a good bet even if it doesn't hit, But It will muahahahahahahahahahahaha.  Thought this puppy would be at 55 at least the way the Pats have been liting the score board.

UVW#1......I love your thoughts.....and I agree.....but Philly has only lost by that amount once.......they murdered Detroit!!  Philly, with an injured McNabb, and Feely at QB, won 5 outta thier last 6 games 3 years ago to make the playoffs!! Don't forget that ya'll.....Feely can play.  I am not covering 24 points, no way no how....even if it was the Jets!

What you just said makes no sense. Feely didn't even play for the Eagles 3 years ago. I think what you mean was the Eagles with Garcia made the Playoffs last year in that fashion. But Feely is no Garcia and the Eagles are not the same guys from last year. Stallworth ( gone ) Westbrook ( injured ).....

It's pretty bad when someone who knows what you do bets their hard earned money on games .

Philly is absolutely screwed in this one.  McNabb is officially out, so AJ Feeley gets his first action of the year.  Oh boy this is gonna be fun!!!  As far as the over/under, all I figure the Eagles need to do is throw up a field goal...the Pats are scoring at least 48 in this one.  Only way it would be different is if it was in Philly...it's not...24 is a lot yes, but the Eagles would need to put up at least 20 points to cover that one and they have only done that 3 times this year.  The Pats are gonna put pressure on Feeley and make him make quick decisions.  Adalius Thomas will spy Westbrook wherever he goes, and they are going to let the receivers try and beat them.  And after the game the Eagles will regret ever opening their stupid mouths.  Just like the city, they are a fat, ugly, disgusting franchise who just can't win the big one, and when they lose they have to go down to the level of calling the other team cheaters.  Good luck in this one boys, you are going to need it !

I got my train ticket somewhat early at -21pts
First half -14 and First half over at 26.5.
 
Pats are just unlike any other nfl team ever with the pts and yds they put up, and they dont let off.

In 1993, Cincinnatti was playing at San Fran and the line was like 19 to 20 points...that's the biggest NFL spread I can recall but there may be a bigger one involving the Jags or Panthers during their expansion year of 1995...

It was December 5, 1993....San Fran won 21-8 so the Bengals covered the number... on their way to a 3-13 season...

I got the Patriots -21.5 on monday and just put in a BIG play on the Pats -14.5 1st half today (saturday)......but no totals are posted on the board here in vegas because they are getting KILLED by everyone parlaying the Pats with the over every week.....they might have to raise the prices in the buffets to make their money back... LOL

Arent we talking about pro athletes here?...Philly is actually not that bad of a team, even with Feeley, who will more than likely start.   I will take the points on a small play, just too big a number and the Pats are human and will play a let down game at some point.  Not saying they are going to lose..but they have to have a letdown game at some point where they just dont score at will...its rather boring, but good for the folks who have been riding them, I am not one of them...too high of spreads for my taste, but had to play this number.

FIRST OF ALL CAN I SA WOW...!!!!! there are some great opinion here ... thats good.. i resprect everyones view. i believe we do try to work some wierd way as a team  in helping each other a long.. just wanted to say thanx to u'll let keep it up and break all bookies      . Well i use playersonly.com and i think there pretty good..    they have one  where it says which team on SUN. will score the most points...?   well of  course  i  had to go with the PATS here @ home... put some heavy  on this one...  
 
what do u guys think... any other team i should worry about that might beat the PATS high score..?
