This will be a low scoring game.  If gore is out then I can't see SF winning this. SF offense starts and ends with the run.

If the 49ers expect to win by the run they better not fall behind by a few scores because they'll never be able to catch up. Teams never seem as good once the Giants beats them, NE, Bills and Eagles. If the Giants beat the 9ers they will fall into that spot too.

I absolutely love San Fran here for 1 reason. Exactly 0 teams have not lost ATS since 1985. 16 teams have lost only once and the majority of the teams with only 1 loss actually have a push mixed in. Even if you say history has no bearing on the now I'd like the Giants here anyway. Asking San Fran to stay perfect on the east coast is a tough task and the G-men have a huge advantage at QB in this game. On a side note I checked out whether 2 teams have had only 1 loss ATS in the same year after week 10 and that has indeed happened 3 times, otherwise I'd have played the Bengals as well.

The same Seahawks who crushed the Saints in the playoffs? The Cards gave the Steelers a rough time and Miami who just killed KC on the road. You never know when a team is going to play their best game. The 49ers can run but can they score as fast as they may need to when they need to? What if the 9ers can't run, is Smith going to win the game for them. The Eagles lead the NFL in rushing, the Giants took care of them. 9ers better have more than a rushing game.

The Giants are no SuperBowl contenders, let's face it if the 49ers can get a little pressure on Eli he will look like a deer in headlights and just throw the ball in the air like he normally does under pressure. You say the Giants lost Boss and Smith and now Cruz and Ballard are an upgrade? WTF, these guys play 1 maybe 2 good games and you call them an upgrade, you my friend are very delerious. Giants fans are all the same, when they win with back ups the new guy is the next jerry Rice but when you lose with back ups you complain it's because such and such was hurt.

Better worry about the Cowbillies, Bills lead the NFL in creating turnovers, #2 in INTs. How many pick 6's is Romo going to throw this week? Eli can handle pressure, can Romo? Cruz vs. Bryant, Cruz 34 rec. 588 yards avg. 17.3-Bryant 26 rec. 443 17.0. Cruz didn't even play last year. Plus unlike Smith Cruz can score from 80 yards away where Smith would get you the catch. I'am going to love the games against Dallas this year. Dallas is already the preseason favorite to win it all next year, so many weapons.

If you're read my post weekly.. you'd know that I've made a lot of $$ over Niners this season.  If the spread was PK and Gore was in, I'd take Niners for a medium bet.  But Gore questionable and possibly not 100%, I have to stay out.  A good gambler knows when to bet.

They will be a playoff team but come on now!

That being said , I agree with you Nevergoless, know when to hold em know when to fold em. The G-men are a tough crew to figure out. I can see a low scoring affair here, especially with Gore's status uncertain. This has me thinking under 42 if any play at all. 

Agreed! 49 ers have made me good money also. But there are better games this week like Houston for the large.

SF -3.5 (1u) - Will there be a let-down by the Niners after their great road-run?  Its probably not a huge value play one way or the other.  Stronger need to win on the giants, the g-men have a good road record too, the niners may be the better team as shown in the line, i'm not sure there will be a let down by sf.  Have the niners over-performed?  hmmm, i'm bettin they're the real deal.  Score: Giants 14 - Forty-Niners 33.

Tbh, at the moment i see San Francisco 49'ers as the best team in the NFL. You might not have an offense as good as Packers, but overall i like the 49'ers more than any other team.

So much hype about Giants and Manning calling himself the best quarterback in the league, but it's so false. Giants going 7-2? Don't think so. I think 49'ers will take this one in a low scoring game.

I will go for the Under play here!

    Cappers who rely on trend analysis at this time of the season are fighting a losing battle with the bookies. This version of the NY Giants is a "cheap suit" compared to when the G-Men complied most of their great road win trends. The 49ers are on  a higher playing level than NY. Harbaugh's got these guys playing and believing, and "Big Blue" is just another loss on their schedule as they march off towards the play-offs. I might add just like the the Raiders on Thurday,both teams defy the publics perception of them!  I am hammering this game with both fists! Get on board, or be left at the station.

49ers better stay away from 3rd & 10's, their choices are on 3rd are screens or pass for 10. 1st and 2nd downs you know they are going to be runs. The more i hear the Giants can't win the more i think they will. Are the 49ers reading their own press? Someone in sports said, styles make the fight. I think Eli will make better choices then the 9er "D". That will put them in a panic, into mistakes. Who are they going to double? Nicks? Leave Cruz one on one, Manningham one on one? Ballard's still there.

That's not true. The arguments that people put on for this game, are just stupid. San Francisco 49'ers has the best Offensive line in the game, so good luck to Giants putting on a game here, they have nothing to do - and im not sure how they are going to cover anything.

Im pretty sure that you will be pissed off watching a game like this, if you have put your money on the Giants, you will be very frustrated to see how easy 49'ers make football look. Ny Giants are so overrated.

The G-men could very well win. Their road record is something like 14-6 ATS, that's got to be respected. I just think the Niner Defense/special teams will continue to carry this team. For example 10 of their last 46 drives started in enemy territory.  Their other stat i like is their turnover, one of the lowest in the NFL (7). As long as A.Smith continues to protect the ball, i'll lay some money on SF, maybe not as much as by good buddy the Vue.  Oh, my other concern is Gores ankle, he's been nursing it all week... GL

Gore might not be a hundred percent. Giants also have a respectable turnover margin. Both teams are getting 1.2 interceptions per game.  Giants have to many aerial weopons  for San Fran to effect a no fly zone. Gores ankle will wear on him as the game progresses.  Gmen are averaging 3.5 sacks per game vs Friscos 2.8. Smith still a bit green might do something stupid under pressure although Manning has been known to do the same but at least in the enemys red zone usually and not on their own side of the field. Putting Gians in my teaser.  I cant see Frisco winning by ten points and will probably take the giants money line also for one unit. as they came threw nicely for me last week on the moneyline.

Also who besides Detroit has Frisco played that had a strong air attack? Detroits rush defense is lacking, not that the Giants is stellar though.

The "best rushing offense", are you talking about Philly?  The niners beat em too.  Being in the worst division?. while that may be true, they've only played one division member (SEA), all the other wins have been east cost teams. I'm thinking of joining VUE now and putting a little more on sf.
