What a dipshit Braylon Edwards is. Bad enough that he decided to drive drunk(Twice the Limit!!), but had other team mates lives at risk inside his vehicle as well as the general public's lives, and he did it despite his team having a policy in which all he has to do is call someone and he can get a ride to avoid trouble. Plus, I'm sure he has MORE than enough money to phone the biggest flipping limo in all of New York City to come and pick up his drunk ass and teammates and have a flatbed towtruck behind them with his Range Rover on it. He could rent an entire hotel floor if he wanted to party.

I have absolutely ZERO mercy on the stupid glorified athletes who are multi-millionaires and who's conduct more resembles some thug mentality rather than that of an athlete who takes training and thier sport seriously.

I am all for the dumb ass politicians passing laws regarding the conduct of these morons who have enough money to live a life most of us could only dream of yet they do thinks such as drunk driving, having weapons in public, causing riots in stripclubs, driving over 100mph in a 25 zone, and who knows what else that puts the regular Joe's or Jane's or Baby Doe's life in danger also. Some of these clowns have no concept of reality anymore since they have an abundant amount of cash. They still think and behave like street thug idiots and the cash to do it at such a extreme level enables them to brush it off and laugh.

I say, hit em so hard with fines that NONE of them will be able to laugh it off. The NFL should adopt a NO NONSENSE POLICY where Braylon Edwards money will go to family members of victims of drunk drivers to send those kids to college. He can afford that, so screw em hard for the benifit of someone's good.

I'd like to see Edwards try and laugh that kind of fine off.

How about a $500,000 fine... that would do much good for those kids whos familys have suffered from drunk driving murderers.

I know he did not kill anyone( Thanks to the law enforcement that spotted him)... but he has NO excuse to do what he did especially in these hard economic times. Hire a limo driver, call the teams hotline, whatever... don't risk others lives because you have enough money to laugh off some small fines and act like a thug with no regard for others lives.

Recently, in Europe, a driver was pulled over for speeding way above the limit in a fancy sportscar. In that country(can't remember which) the law states that the fine is determined by the persons income... the driver was very wealthy... the fine was equivalent to over $400,000 in US Dollars.

Now THAT will stop these clowns in their track. And if not... then pay up. Then eventually they would have no money left to do these things.

Sounds like a good plan to me.
