WOW!!! Who's your bookie??? I'll slam my entire bankroll and more with DET +9 then!!!!
Actually for game 2, one of the online sportsbooks had erroneously posted this for the 1st half spread:
PHI -6.5
DET +6.5
Naturally, I jumped it. But those wankers declared it a non-runner and voided the bet because of their own mistake.. still pisses me of to this day. They were British....

I will take Detroit 1st half on this one, and be done with it. I think that they come out with a sense of urgency and finally win a first half wager by returning to form
Detroit 1st half

Aside from the PC play, Detroit 1st half is too good to pass up. I have to get me some of that money! They have lost two straight 1st half wagers. And I doubt seriously that they lose a third, as they have not lost 3 consecutive halftime spreads the entire season.

finally, detroit is back!!!!..bout fucking time...what most bettors dont know is that the x-factors in the last game for detroit were T.prince....and A.Mcdyess.....for the first time in both their careers they stepped up and became vocal leaders on the court, usually they are the quiet assasins....billups said in an interview after the game how impressed he was with prince's play and vocalism.....big rasheed praised mcdyess for the way he dove onna floor for a loose ball when they were losing.....rasheed said when he saw mcdyess do that with no hesistation by sacrificing his broken nose.....that made him want to play harder....and the next thing u know 3's are dropping and the team is jelling again.....prince and mcdyess were credited for bringing energy back to the pistons.......at halftime billups said to his teammates "lets just relax and slow our offense down and speed up on defense".....the results-da pistons comeback win.......gotta go with DETROIT-UNDER.....they are rejuvenated and back home where they feel comfortable......before i leave ,here is a hellified quote from MCDYESS........something to think about....
After Sunday's win, McDyess said he would not have a problem coming off the bench. In fact, he sounded as if it's a role he would welcome."Coming off the bench is what I'm comfortable doing," McDyess said."Starting? It's just a routine thing. I feel like now, I get in there ... when I start, I feel like a robot sometimes. But when I come off the bench, I feel I've got to step up and make something happen."Because Detroit's starting five consists of so many scorers, McDyess often winds up being the forgotten man."He's kind of invisible out there," Saunders said. "But when he comes off the bench, because of some of the people he's coming (in) with, they look to him a little bit more."

Ah yes, that's it then. Hack-Town USA, Detroit basketball. That's two solid ways to attack the 1st half. Chalk and under if it's listed in the 90's. Let's do it!

Well my plan to take a few days off didn't last long. Made a deposit this morning, as the lines were just too good to pass up. I am staying away from baseball however, and sticking to the sport that got me here. Obviously it was a rough night, but I'm ready to bounce back and build up that bankroll once again!!
Styles and Captailor, Im right there with both of you on the Pistons first half. I believe the Sixers are still a little bit stunned after blowing that big lead in Game 4 and will be a little bit out of it in the early going. I would have loved to get the line a little lower, but I don't mind -5 at all. My book doesn't have a total posted yet, but like you said Captailor, if it's anything over 90 you have to take the UNDER. I highly doubt it will be though. My guess is 88.
Also looking at a teaser for this game. This is something that I haven't done for a while, and I had reasonable success with it earlier in the year. I may look at teasing the Pistons down to -3 and teasing the Sixers up to +15. Not quite sure yet, but early on it seems like a solid play
Detroit -5 1st half.

pardon my gaming ignorance, but what is the PC play? I like Detroit tonight too, but i sure hope this first half line is not over 5....I am out if it goes any higher than that.

Likeing a large play on detroit first half as well and really biting at my knuckles about whether to take a small play on the Sixers moneyline +425 is just way too tempting

I think a lot of people on this board got hit pretty hard last night, myself included. But we always seem to look at the lines and just can't pass them up because we'd kick ourselves if they'd all clicked. Good luck in starting a new bankroll

DET -5 1H sounds good but i wouldn't be surprised to see philly cover +9 for the game. but i suppose nothing can be surprising anymore after the hawks continue to rob us blind in their efforts to prolong the inevitable.

i hate to go against with some of yaall, but i like the over on this game. if not, sixers team over 84 or 85. Sixers needs faster pace game to make to game close. i hope to see lots of fouls towards the end. hmmm, if 1st half goes under, i am all over on 2nd hf over.
over 177.5
sixers team ov 85
