if orlando can believe they can win they will... they are the better team with no kg... this series has been fked up... taking orlando and hoping they dont fold under all the pressure once again... howard knows what he has to do and is pissed i think they will pull it off...

the terrible play in the last 5 minutes of game 5 should not happen again... this game will be too close to not take points...

I also can't get over the way his team just won't go down, especially the way they've overcome the loss, not only of KG, but also James Posey, PJ Brown from last season, and even Leon freekin' Powe.

Perkins, Big Baby and even Scalabrine have come up huge for these guys in the playoffs.

And honestly, I don't know how you can argue that Orlando is the better team.  If they were the better team this series wouldn't be tied, and they would've lost at home in this series.

I also happen to feel, pretty strongly, that Doc Rivers is the better coach here, but that's just my opinion.

What's fact, is that these Celtics are like cockroaches man.

PRIDEFUL cockroaches.  Who've played like champions when they've had to.

If they were playing the Cavs in this spot I might feel differently, but they aren't.  They're playing against a team that's not used to game 7's . . . IN BOSTON.

The Celtics will win this game for sure, one way or another.

And you watch, Ray Allen will suddenly come back to life like he did in the playoffs last season.  

And I agree with those siding the Boston money line by the way, although I do understand the skepticism where the line's concerned.

I have no doubts that Orlando is coming to play.

But again, this Boston team will take of this Orlando team, and I might even go ahead and lay the points.

MY LIKELY UNPOPULAR THOUGHT: The only way to play both these 2 deciding games (unless you go small for fun or don't love money) is at the half or better yet the 4Q line. I went large on Houston +6 4Q last game as well as Boston to come back. Boston was the tougher call but I knew they would at least cut into that lead eventually. The odds of finding the right side at that pt of the game about doubles if you understand how to read it correctly. Momentum (or the switch of momentum) is normally apparent after you've watched 100's of NBA games and is key.... but how the refs are calling it (and which specific players they are calling against after a "T" or excessive jawing) is huge down the stretch. (This even plays into the possible "fix" theorists which I believe exists to an extent. Outside of talent, individual motivation, and health....money and the power's that be own personal gratification drive the NBA. Anyone who ignores this key cog in the wheel need only look at NBA history. Refs make many instantaneous choices throughout the game. So does the commissioner they answer to only he does before it starts. Did you hear his comment last game regarding his team preference?  He said, "Believe it or not, I am rooting for the refs." You can take that as he simply hopes they do a good job calling the game OR in addition to calling a pretty fair game that they also incorporate the lean he or his staff have encouraged.....and he hates Van Gundy!  Take that for what it's worth.

 

Play small but hang onto to your real money early. You simply can't get a feel for the momentum and what the refs agenda is until the half or 4Q.

All you Celtics backers will not be happy after tonight! The absence of KG will show up tonight, even if for some reason they make it they get there ass kicked by Cleveland in the next series. But they won't make it past today, the season comes to an end.

No way can I go against the Celtics at home in a game 7. But do they pull it out like they did in game 5? Or do they dominate from the get-go. The NBA doesn't want to see a Laker- Celtic rematch, they want a Kobe - Lebron matchup. But first, do they want Lebron and Cavs to beat the Champs to hype it more??? Laying the points and taking the Celtics. And a small play on the under...
