My advice for everyone that is new here is to be smart with your bets, don't just blindly tail anyone. I respected Stylistic/CK's opinion, same as I respect many of the veterans opinions in here. But I ALWAYS cap my own games, do my own research and come up with my own plays.
One system that I really enjoy doing as you can tell is betting the 1st half of games. IMO they are much easier to predict, as there is no way to tell what teams will do in the 4th quarter if the game is out of reach. Tonight I won on the first half, and you will notice that I did not come in here making a bet for the 2nd half. There was no need to, my money was already won. What I usually do with the 2nd half is if I win in the 1st half, take half of what I won and play only that...for instance I won 500 bucks on the Detroit -3, I would bet 250 on the 2nd half. That way, even if you lose you end up in the positive for that night. It seems incredibly basic, but I have seen many people double up in the 2nd half of games when they were ahead after the 1st half. Stupid.
Even so, I rarely bet the 2nd half of games if I already won in the 1st half. There is no reason to. If the lines are really good, and they are something I'm interested in, or if there is a trend that has hit at a high percentage, I will only play half my winnings on that play.
2-1 tonight
9-3 this week.
