Boston at Chicago (04/23/2009)

Have to go with the team that won on the road here. I'm sure we all remember the playoff woes that boston had last year on the road, and that was with KG, what makes people think that this is a different team now?

Celtics w/o Powe, Scalabrine cleared to play but..?will he play and even if he does how effective will be be?, and KG out as before

Chicago playing pretty well last 2 games, they are "young dumb and full of .... enthusiasm"

The 2 guard attack of Rose/Gordon has scored 56 and 52 in gms 1 and 2, but their combined avgs totals only 37.5. After scoring 36 in gm 1 Rose was shut down to 10pts in gms 2, but Gordon picked it up and dropped in 42. I attribute this to a def. adjustment by Celtics and an amazing 6-11 (54.5%) 3pt shooting clinic by Gordon in gm 2.

I don't think the duo of Rose/Gordon can keep putting over 50 pts in.

Question for Celtics is Rhondo's ankle, he has been the driving force behind the offense and w/o his penetration Celtics become a jump shooting team. Powe absence will give M Moore more min, and E House will probably see more time this game.

alright, i've seen enough with that line.  I'm done trying to read into this series or underestimate the bulls or overestimate the "green machine".  Bulls have competed in the last 3 tilts with boston on the backs of 3 huge games from 3 different huge guys:  john salmons (reg season), d rose, and ben gordon.  That tells me that boston's perimeter defense has been a shadow of itself and that was one of their strongest points last year in the playoffs and even early this year.  Scalabrine is back tonight which could help boston, but i have to fade that fact for minute mixing purposes.  He could mess the rotation up a bit and the C's are just straight up banged up.  Bulls have finally assembled a team that matches up well with boston and while i still think boston is alive in this series, i think they're in a bad position here to cover, let alone win. 

Having watched game 2, the bulls looked hungrier, more organized and you just get a feeling that the celtics can't stop them.  Now that the series is heading back to an energized, excited chicago crowd, the bulls will be pumped and ready to do their thing.  They have too many guys who can score from anywhere on the court (down to jump shooting, smooth passing brad miller)

Line movement is doing just what it should, moving up by a point and a half, even though boston is at almost 40% where as somtimes it takes less on the losing squad to cause that much movement.  Also, having been burned by less than 2 points in the blazers game thanks to flukish FT misses (portland) and ridiculous 3pt shooting (brooks), i'm going to play the ML, which i kinda wish i had done in game 2 and for portland's game 2.

Boston and the Points in this one. Chicago Stole Game 1. Boston will Still Game 1 in Chicago. Look for the 3 party to keep it close. Wouldnt be suprise if they win straight up. Very intrested in this -125 3 Chicago Juiice at MGM Mirage. Intrested to see if this Clears or a Set up to take the public money on a public play for the Day.

Just Intrested to see How this will pan out but I will take my chances with Less Juice on the line with good ball clubs.

Chi town seemed to be tight early, but I think they'll get the cover with a strong 2nd half.  Bulls-3.5

From personal experience I tell ya Miss Piggy is a favourite...However would not want to influence...Pier group pressure is a killer..
