Dont be afraid of Toronto Today Tiger, I think the NYY are way over valued again and this is a great opportunity. Tor knows Burnett and the Yanks played a nite game and have a quick turn around today. Great Dog shot sweety.

Besides value angle, there's a familiarity factor goin' for the Jays facing ol' mate Burnett.Facing in my opinion ,an overpriced hurler havin' all the tools of a star, though all along, short on pricey expectations ,till recently vs. Mutts.Perhaps by in the zone familiarity factor with Fish head days.
Tallet has talent but seems to do well vs. smaller offensive minded teams.Though that performance at Texas was not worth spittin'at .Distant past Coincidence, Burnett doin' the same at TeXas as well. Burnett may want to settle score vs ol' mates,
his recent pitchin' numbers suggests he's at the right place n' right time to do so.Perhaps There lies the question to dwell on .
ZZ Slobbathia sank my meager Mutt ~ Skanker parlay yesterday, should of none better with ZZ as he tends to have cryptonite effect, Being Something like 2-6 bettin' games with ZZ,well worth walkin' away from ,as with this matchup, walkin' from the table with bigger, better things comin' ahead.

If its the juice that one chases, then the Jays are definitely under-valued seeing that Yankee Stadium has limited red carpet for any pitcher in house let alone a guest... Tallet has the talent no doubt, but the rest of his cronies seem to be slumming at the moment... Perhaps they are in waiting for Messiah Halliday to rid them of their woes..Fact remains, that at the present Toronto`s bats are frozen in time, even within the confines of their own yard, which leads me to answer that pondered question...Feel that AJ is up to it??or is it?? "But that pen"...Tempted to take the Rod-Line here, however I will refrain due the numbers being overvalued,so instead will totally disobey any from of principle or common sense.. Burn baby Burn... After all the drama between A.J. and his former team, you can bet that each will be hungry for this win. Aside from besting a weakMets club, Burnett has yet to do anything since returning from the DL. Thus, his numbers look highly suspect.
The Jays will be better rested and ready for battle. They themselves likely have few delusions about sweeping this series. However, Tallet is one of their stronger arms. Making their claim to scoring a victory, that much more imperative. Heck, maybe Rios and Wells reassert themselves, by cranking a couple out of that ban-box of a ball-yard.
The overriding theme for this series, will be 'payback'(!) We shall soon see which of 'em spills first blood.

Seems to me Yankees win game one, Halladay (owns Yankees) game two, and then we'll see what happens in the rubber game....
Focusing on this game, I like Burnett a lot more -- especially lately. I think he may be under-valued... but only for a few more games.
I watched him pitch against Minnesota in May -- May 17 -- and thought he started to turn it around there. He got roughed up a little by the Phillies in his next outing, but then beat Texas in back to back games -- not easy to do, and against a club that can stick.
(I do a lot of pitching lines to evaluate 5 inning propositions. In so many cases, when a guy is rolling along with 0s and 1s, and then gives up a big number, the nemesis is Texas.)
He was not great at Fenway -- it happens -- and since then has had three very good starts, beating the Mets, losing to Florida 2-1, and beating the Mets again.
He's still throwing too many walks... which will be a problem against Toronto's contact hitters -- and an interesting test.
I do find he and Andy Pettite drive me crazy, but are both winners. They have that right field wall on the brain... don't want to give up the long ball... and it's warped them a bit.
But they win. When I see Joba Chamberlain going off at -250... and that tub of lard, Can't Count-on Sabathia, at -300... I guess I don't blush at -170 for Halladay or Pettite, who are pitching well enough to win games.
I don't take a position on a lot of Yankee games. But this one looks reasonable to me.
